Week In Review: Zippa’ WHAAA?

Sunday, Jul 18th, 2010 by Jonathan Volk

This week has had more epic content from some of my favorite places on the internet. Some made me think and some made me cry… (with laughter).

  • Getting Traffic For Zip Submit Offers – Ruck always delivers. This blog post is an amazing example of just how you can scale offers and think outside the box. Really great content.
  • Never Come To Mumbai Otherwise You May Jail In My Land – This post has 0 useful information so if that’s what you’re looking for, don’t click it. If you’re up for laughing at a ridiculously awesome conversation between AdHustler and a banned wickedfire user, then this is for you. I’ve read it three times now and it’s still funny.
  • Weapons Of Marketing – Jeremy is in the process of relaunching the Shoemoney system. What this means is that he is going to be sending out some awesome prelaunch content that you’ll definitely want to see. Sure, this isn’t technically a blog post, but unless you’ve made over $10,000,000 online like Jeremy has… you should probably listen to what he has to say.
  • Don’t Buy eBooks – Finch Sells (Martin as I like to call him) wrote a post that had some truthful nuggets of info in it. While I don’t agree that all ebooks only have old out dated stuff, I can appreciate that he realizes the importance of relationships in this industry.
  • Thank You Again, Google – In this post, Jeremy talks about the result of the $1 BILLION dollar lawsuit between youtube and viacom. This literally would have changed how many of us use the internet.
  • THIS is how you do viral marketing – Bryn got to posting it before I could do it. Old spice’s youtube videos are SO AWESOME. They made an awesome set of commercials and then followed up with the same guy from the commercial responding to twitter comments made to @OldSpice using youtube. People like Kevin Rose (Digg Founder), Alisa Milano, and many other celebrities sent a tweet to @OldSpice and they responded. Really awesome idea!
  • Is Google The Next Microsoft? – This is a really interesting article on TechCrunch about Google being the next Microsoft. What do you think?
