That what was the information what I was looking for. But when I did all the steps then my Ad copies were actually lost.
Yes two new campaigns have been created, with ne adgroups, new KW but now ad copy although I had it in my spreadsheet.

I am looking for a way to move my adgroups one level up as campaigns.
I though to export csv make changes and import but I havent found a way to do it. :(

There is a website using the aea file (adwords editor archive) to automatically generate adwords campaigns. You supply your ad text, landing page and keywords, and it generates a campaign for you. All you need to do is import the aea file into Adwords Editor and post your changes. Campaign generation is easy, fast and saves you hours of manual labor.

Here is the campaign generator in action... http://www.adwords-marketing-tool.com/Campaign-Cr...

Here is the url for the actual tool... http://www.adwords-marketing-tool.com/toolbox/Cam...

Actually they let you easily copy and paste campaigns, but maybe Im not sure exactly what you want to do. I appreciate this post, a bit more informational than all the contests lately. They were nice I just like reading your real meat and potatoes kind of posts like this. Thanks Mr. Volk

what a pain they make it' you'd think they have download and then upload, or, but they are probably trying to prevent people from copying/pasting campaigns.
