Weight Loss Challenege: Tyler Cruz V. Jonathan Volk

Weight gain is one of the major issues affiliate marketers and those who work from home face. It really comes down to generally taking in more calories than you burn off because you're less active and if you're like me, you love to eat food at restaurants.

I officially have been working from home for just over 2 years. I have loved every single minute of it. While the upsides are huge, there are downsides to anything. As of today, I weigh just about 185. (Photos to follow in a next post). For my height, which is 5' 11", that puts my BMI at just over 25. Anything over 25 is considered overweight. So my goal is to get down below that 25 BMI. You can check your own BMI here.

That's why when Tyler Cruz from TylerCruz.com hit me up and ask me if I wanted to do a weight loss competition, I was happy to participate! Competition is a great way to motivate me to do the things I don't particularly enjoy.

The Competition:

The competition is simple. Tyler Cruz and I both must lose 10 pounds before June 18, 2009. The final weight will be measured on June 18th via video.

If by June 18th, 2009 Tyler or I fail to hit the target weight, the loser will have to pay $500 out. If we both fail, we both pay... If we both succeed we both don't have to pay anything.

So who does the $500 get paid out to? (This is where you come in)

Win an Easy $100

Winning $100 is pretty easy. All you have to do is write a blog post about this challenge, linking to BOTH of our blogs. Your blog must be “make money online” or affiliate marketing related and your post can not be copy/pasted from either of our posts.

In your post, predict who you think might lose the challenge. You can only choose one person.

If that person ends up losing the challenge, you will be put into a draw to win 1 of 5 $100 prizes that the loser will be forced to pay. For example: if you write a blog post predicting that Tyler will lose the challenge, and Tyler ends up losing the challenge, then you will be put into a draw with all the other bloggers who predicted that Tyler would lose and a random draw for 5 of those bloggers will win $100 each.

Once the post is up, you must leave a comment on whichever blog you predicted wouldn’t make the goal with the URL of your post or you won’t be eligible.

Make sure to have this post up before May 10, 2009 or else it wont count.
