What an inspiring story! I have also read that similar stories are heard in Bangladesh. Apart from the money making abilities, these women are growing in status and their position in society is changing with economic freedom. The micro lenders are also in it for commercial reasons besides the social do gooding and it is not done for charity. Everyone in the game wins. The only factor that the banker provides is the risk element. Surprisingly, the default rate is almost nil.

This story is really inspiring. Your comment about having the kids build websites is not that far off. I'm sure there are people with kids out there that could build websites faster than they do.

I think creativity cannot be taught it is considered to be a gift from god.Educated people know many rules and laws and uneducated didn't use them and act by intuition ruled by the god.

That's really amazing!!! I am basically from India but living in UK and I know MicroFinance works there. It was creative thinking of the lady that led her to success. Sometimes those illeterate people are lot more creative than many highly educated ones.

That is very inspiring. The guy at www.lifewithoutlimbs.org is also an inspiration to me. His name is Nick Vujicic and he has no arms or legs, yet he's probably accomplished more in his young life than most will in a lifetime. It's amazing how people with seemingly unsurmountable odds can achieve success while people with good health, nice homes, education, good credit etc,. will give up at the first sign of struggle or blame others when they fail.

Fantastic story. It's a motivator for all of, reminds us of how a little creativity can really get things going, and brings up an important point about how a little bit of money for some of us can change several lives somewhere else.
