The end of 2009 already. Wow. Crazy.

This is the time that I recommend you sit down, and start to both reflect on your year and begin to think about new goals that you want to achieve for this year.

You know, as I reflect upon just the last few years, I am so thankful and appreciative for all the things that have happened. I know the success that I have seen both in my life, friends, and families lives are rare.

You see, just over three years ago, I was working at a part time computer sales job, attending college, and trying to find my place.

Now, three years later, it almost seems unreal at times.

This year was my best year ever. Not just in business but in growth, knowledge, and relationship.

Some of the major events...

I got engaged and then married, bought my first house, hired an employee, expanded my revenue streams, gain a ton more RSS subscribers, and had the best year in sales and profit ever.

In line with my long term goals (helping people), I was able to give more this year than I ever have before in my life (combined from all the previous years). To me, there is no greater thing than to touch someones life for the better. (Based upon this)

All in all, not too shabby of a year.

I am thankful for everyone who reads this blog and for having this platform to be able to communicate with my fellow affiliates and internet marketers.

In 2010, I look forward to seeing higher, larger, and better things... although getting married will be impossible to beat.

Goals:
My goal for 2010 is going to be to hit at least $5 million in gross revenue. I am confident that with a lot of hard work and walking in the continued favor I have found, that all things are possible.

I plan to achieve this goal through many avenues such as starting some service oriented websites (more on these later), expanding my traffic sources and the methods used for traffic generation, and working towards building this blog even more.

As the year progresses you will continue to hear more about these items.

I would love to hear some of your goals, however big or small. :)

To a successful and prosperous year.

Not true, get her pregnant near the beginning of the year and you will top that one by the end of 2010 ;)

    2. Good luck for your goals and i hope that you will achieve all your goal specially earning $5 million revenue.

Hey Jon, I always thought goals were supposed to be sensitive and kept secret, but you changed the way I felt about it all.

I have a goals page myself now, and I have a feeling that the commitment to accomplish those goals now that I’ve made them public, will make 2010 a much better year than I could have imagined!

Thanks Jon for the great blog, and great post :)

      • Awesome Kang!

I love your goals! There are some really great goals there.

Another one might be putting feedburner on your blog. That’s the preferred method of subscription (via email for me) and I’d love to subscribe and watch as you achieve these goals.

        Thanks,

    4. I think you have achieved great things in your life that we all have seen and from this post you are giving the best advice to all of the readers to get themselves into this acticity like as you have done. I am going to set my golas for the forthcoming year.

Good luck with your goals :)

    7. Jonathan, I wish you the best of luck in reaching your goals. I have yet to post my online goals on my blog. However, one thing for sure is making sure I follow this blog a little more closely. Maybe then, I’ll surpass you and reach the 20 million mark first. ;) Of course, I’m long ways off at the moment haha!

      Happy New Year!

      Hi, Jonathan

I am new to ppc and i hope i can learn more from you… And happy 2010 to you and your goal…

    12. Link Wheels says:

Hello Jon, to keep your goals on track make sure you write them down and put them in a place where you will continually be looking at them. There is no point in setting goals that you do not revisit throughout the year. Laminate them, stick them on your wall, get a whiteboard. Just make sure they are always in view!
      Regards, Dave

    13. My main goal for my websites is to get to 5k per month per site. Should not be that hard.

    14. Goals are great but what are everyone’s objectives?

Having goals without a clear means to reach them is the equivalent of dreaming.

So if a goal (strategy) is to get more comments, then the objectives (tactics) should be actionable tasks like commenting on 10 other blogs per day, commenting on 1 new blog per day, and asking a question at the end of each post.

    15. Congrats on getting married!

    16. PPC Ian says:

Going through some old posts I missed and what an awesome post. Congratulations, Jonathan, what a great year! I wish you all the best in 2010. Thanks for providing so much inspiration to everyone in online marketing.

    17. Bidet says:

Good luck on your goals for 2010, I’m sure you can achieve those goals. 5 million is a lot of money, but its achievable if you work real hard.
