Last night I was in a meeting (No, I was not able to make it to Vegas for Aff Summit 
), and something was said that really hit home with me.
A lot of times we go to big meetings like Affiliate Summit, or chat up with someone who may know a lot about affiliate marketing and don't ask them anything that will help us to grow.
For example, You meet Shoemoney and are so excited to have met him. You go up say Hey, how are you? And then just talk about the ball game, or some MMA fight because you want Jeremy to like you!
Instead, because he has a wealth of actual knowledge, you should ask penetrating questions (hence the title). Go deep in finding out what you need to know to take you to the next level.
Another thing about this: Don't ask questions about stuff you already know just so you can sound smart! Just ask things that you honestly want to know and that can have an impact on the way you do business.
For example: "When growing your business what were some of the bigger mistakes you made?"
So @ the next affiliate summit, I can promise you that I will be asking penetrating questions to gain from the wealth of knowledge that is there.
See, I think that more than just business, this works in life too. Think of everything the older generation knows that we have yet to experience or learn about. When you see someone who is 70, 80, 90+ years in age, why not ask them?
Wisdom is something you can gain from your own experiences, but smart wisdom is experience you gain from learning from others.
P.S. Sorry to Ryan and all the other people. Azoogleads bought me a pass and I bailed on them. Totally lame, I know.

I though Shoe did not like question like that. He even made a video once I believe where he wished people would not ask him questions on how to make it in AFF Marketing. But I could be wrong. I think the questions he would answer would be more detailed. Something that would say “hey I’ve been busting my butt here and I hit a brick wall, Help me out”. I’m sure when people ask you questions, you’re wondering if they have even put any effort in their work before asking a question.
That’s an interesting experience, then I have a question: Where can I pay someone to build customized landing pages for PPC?
Been searching that answer for months, to be honest. lol
It is a very unusual blog,well-done work. Cognitive proccesses are encouraged by questions.
Sometimes it is hard to ask a person these kinds of questions because you know that they get asked these types of questions all of the time and they probably become sick of answering them. To ask questions about their daily lives first, helps build up that repour so that you can ask these types of questions later

Yeah man…at asw ive prolly met like 100 new people who read my site, but none of them ask me any real questions, which either means they dont have any questions…which would be rad…or they dont want to ask me..which is silly because I love answering questions. People need to stop being pussies.
Next time I go to affiliate summit, I’ll try to penetrate shoemoney

This is a great entry Jony. I’m not sure if you are relating it to the sermon we had by Pr. Skip, but this does apply to many aspects of your life. You may be missing out on a lot of wisdom if you don’t take a chance to ask questions, even if the first few are not Shoemoney-friendly
I did penetrate shoemoney. it was everything that I hoped for
“Wisdom is something you can gain from your own experiences, but smart wisdom is experience you gain from learning from others. ” – How well said. A lot of pain and loss can be avoided if only we follow this rule. Pride or diffidence prevents us. We must learn to overcome either to succeed.
Good job on “penetrating” Shoemoney. I believe he is a hard guy to get info from and he doesn’t like being asked for it by everyone and their mother. That’s why he has his radio show, so people can write him and if he deems it worthy he will go over it in his program.
