Hard drive failure

Yup. My Hard drive crashed this morning. It was a maxtor OEM hard drive. Never again will I buy Maxtor as it’s the second maxtor drive to fail on me.

Did I have back ups? Nope. The computer is only a couple months old so I didnt really think it would be necessary. Today I went down to fry’s bought a 400 Gb Seagate Hard drive and an external 160gb hard drive for backing up data. I learn my lesson this time. All my data will get backed up!

Thankfully, my business is not totally ruined… just set back about a month… which sucks.

Either way, I’m trying to remain positive and think of this as a second chance to do things better. It’s not a huge set back as I’m still making a good amount of money from current campaigns. I just wanted to get these three new campaigns up. Ah well. In time, I will get them up and be on my way to my next sales goal.

I was a bit short on my sales goal for June but it was a fairly aggressive goal. I am still very pleased with the overall result of my sales!

For July, I plan to work VERY hard on optimizing current campaigns and remaking the 3-4 campaigns I had in the beginning stages. I find that the more time I spend optimizing, the more profit I make. The more campaigns, the more total sales. So I’m working on finding the balance between the two.

Aside from internet marketing, I’m trying to release a couple new sites.

• Incentipay.com – A highly exclusive beta test. Not too much information to be released about this site just yet.
• URL Hidden – A new innovative way to market your arcade sites / video sites. I am currently looking for staff that will help to run the site for a % of the profits.
• URL Hidden – A new forum in the works focusing on internet marketing and eBusiness.

All in all, I have about 7 websites I am wanting to release by the end of July. This should easily take me well over the 5 figure mark in monthly sales, which is exciting.
