Halloween 2009

My Halloween this year was awesome! It was probably the best Halloween I have ever had.

Maria and I volunteer every year at our church for an event they put on for the community kids. This was our first Halloween as a married couple so Maria wanted to dress up. She dressed up as a flower, I dressed up as a bee.

I threw my costume together the day of. I went to Walmart, bought an XXL yellow shirt and black long sleeve shirt. Threw on some black long leg thermals and stuffed the shirt with a $10 twin size mattress topper. Haha.

Maria bought some felt and sewed together a flower thing around her neck. She also cut out green felt leafs and then painted on the stems. It turned out really cute!

Surprisingly, there were like 6 little girls dressed up as Bees so most of them wanted a photo. It turned out great.

I also entered the pumpkin carving contest as well. While I didn't win, I thought it was the best. Hahaha
