Back From Vegas – Recap
I had a great time in Vegas! I originally was not planning on going but I decided I couldn’t miss the poker tournament, getting interviewed by Shoemoney, and meeting up with some good friends!
I left earllyyyyyy Thursday morning and caught a 1.5 hour flight to Vegas.
After getting to my hotel, the Wynn, I met up with a couple friends. Randall, Spencer, and Andrew (Awesome AM From XY7). We hung out, had lunch, and just chatted about everything internet marketing related for hours. I enjoyed hanging with them a lot.
After I got to hang out with them, I went to the poker tournament that DK from Purpose Inc. holds each year. Wow… That was so much fun! I talked to my friend Billy, who owns a poker training forum, and he sent me a bunch of good advice before the tournament started. He recommended I play super tight and gave some other good insight.
On the final table I was sitting next to Steve Poland, who was playing really great. Steve runs a great entrepreneurial blog and is all round a great guy.
I ended up placing 14th or so, just 4 seats away from hitting a prize! Doh! I got chipped down by the increasing blinds with no good hand to save me.
After the poker tournament, I went back and slept until like 10am! Haha.
I got up and worked until my video interview with Shoemoney. I can’t say what the video was for, but you’ll know soon enough. The interview, in my opinion, went pretty well. I was glad to be able to just hang with Jeremy for an hour or so.
All in all, I had an awesome time! Glad to be back home now.
