I always loved reading these posts and so I decided to post my own version.

My week generally consists of about 3 really large time groups that take up most of my time: Work, Church, Maria (Girlfriend) / Family.

Saturdays, Mondays, and Tuesdays are the only full days of work that I do. All the other days are part time hours that are involved in church or family events.

On a normal Monday, I generally sleep in till about 8:30 or 9:00. I'm not doing this because I'm lazy but because I generally am up working really late the previous night. For some reason I seem to get a lot of work done in the midnight hours.

After I wake up, I go get fixed up a bit. Brush my teeth, wash up, etc. I dont like to stay in my boxers / pajamas all day as it seems to have some odd effect on me that makes me less productive. I guess the saying dress for success has some truth to it? Heh.

After this, I generally turn on some music and get the emails going, do a couple quick checks on some stats, and then hit the ground running. On Tuesdays, this is the time I would then work out for about 30 minutes. I used to really be in shape but affiliate marketing has made my focus go more towards work. The resulting less physical activity has taken a bit of a toll and I gained around 15 pounds. I'm still fairly skinny though and I'm working on turning that 15 lbs into muscle.

After this I get working on some campaigns. This is the time where I optimize, split test ads, work on any small changes and see what I can do to increase.

After working on all these tweaks and answering emails, it's about lunch time. I need to work on optimizing my time to be a bit more productive before lunch, but I enjoy slower mornings.

For lunch I like to take an entire hour to relax. I find it actually helps me work better even if I am really busy. I usually have a sandwich and a coke or a jones soda. The best tasting soda in the world is the Jones berry lemonade - If you have not tried it, I HIGHLY recommend it. I think you can find them @ Safeway or Sam's club.

After lunch is when I get the majority of my campaign research and development done. It's the time bracket I take to read up on new niches I'm looking into and finding new ways to get more traffic to my high converters.

That brings me to a little tip: If you find a high converting offer and you're making 100%+ profit expand the niche as much as possible. Any means of profitable traffic should be explored. That's a little extra freebie for ya!

The rest of my day really is spent working on campaigns, dinner time, and about an hour (or three) of relax time before bed. I generally watch some TV and then read my Bible. After all this, I then set everything else aside and get out my list. What do I need to get done? I write out a list and then order them from A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, etc. All the A's need to be done before I do the B's. All the B's before the C's and so on.

Listing what you need to get done is the sure way to optimize your productivity.

If you're struggling and a part time affiliate looking to become full time, take this advice from someone who does it full time. Use your time as wisely as possible as it's the one thing you'll never, ever get back. Itemize what you need to do and organize it into importance. Write your vision and make it clear.

So you're probably wondering what I do on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays?

Well on those days I volunteer at my church from 8:00 AM till 1 PM in the office. It's awesome, I love it. After 1PM I go home and work a little bit but not a huge amount.

Sundays for me are family days. I hang out with my girlfriend, Maria, and my family all day or as long as I possibly can. It's great because it allows me to rejuvenate and kinda just relax for an entire day.

So, that's pretty much my entire week right there. :)

Hope you enjoyed.

    Cool schedule.
I like the list idea – I have something similar that keeps me focused for the next day, as well as some long term goals.

Recently, I’ve been spending more time doing devotions at night. They certainly help me sleep for some reason.

Btw, I’m certainly digging this spiffy comment box! :)

Great stuff, can’t wait till i get that kind of a day in a week life.
I could sum mine up in a few lines.

I get up at 6 am get ready ,get kids up at 6:45am get them ready for wife to take kids off to school on her way to work.
Then I leave for work @ 7:10am to start work at 7:30 then i work till 5:00, pick kids up on way home from work.
Once home eat play with kids get them ready for bed to go to bed at 8-8:30 once there in bed .
I finally get to sit down at the computer to try and figure out ways on how to make a living working online so I don’t have to go threw the above daily routine ,then I stay on till about 1am then go to bed then rinse and repeat.

  7. Tim says:

You’ve gained 15lbs mostly from soda and not lack of activity. Mark my words :)

  8. Max says:

What are your 3 best ways to motivate yourself?

  9. @Tim: You’re probably right. Which is why I have been trying to cut down. It’s so hard though. ;)

@Max: I think of the end result. I make my vision clear and I remind myself of what I want to do with my life. That’s all the motivation I need really.

    Sounds boring …

  11. NormanNormal says:

Max, I am not Jonathan but here my thoughts:

I refuse to accept the mediocrity of working as a wage slave for someone else for the rest of my days. There is no choice in the matter. The only viable option is to work 100% toward my own goals, dreams, and accomplishments and not that of someone else or some organization.

That is the only motivation I need to continue and to peruse my goals.

  12. REC says:

    Jon,

I use to drink a lot of soft drinks. The product I replaced them with is “vitamin water”. Its a great product and good for you.

  13. Hmm jonathan are you into gaming of any sort?

Just figured you might be :D
