You Can Do Better Than That!

It never ceases to amaze me how we can get complacent with our campaigns. Many times we are taught to diversify our campaigns and so once we get our campaigns to a profitable level, we just move on to the next project on the queue.

I think diversifying is a necessary thing in this business. I’ve been working on diversifying for some time now and it always feels good when you have multiple steams of income.

However, my advice is to limit the amount of items you work on to a smaller amount. Don’t focus on 30 campaigns! Having that many campaigns will run you thin and unless you have a staff that can manage it for you, it’s probably not going to be possible over the long run.

What you should do is get a few profitable campaigns and then work on expanding those campaigns as much as possible. Own the niche.

In business it costs on average 10x more to acquire a new customer than it does to keep an existing customer. While I’m not saying that it will cost you 10x more, It’s way more profitable to focus on expanding a few niches.

Here are a couple strategies for you to expand your current campaigns:

  • Try Buying Ads Direct
  • Try Out New PPC Platforms – Take your profitable keywords and see how they do there
  • Try Media Buying
  • Try Social Advertising
  • Try Adding More Specific Adgroups In Your PPC Campaign
  • Try New Ads

Because you already have a successful landing page, if you’re not trying out some additional methods, you’re leaving money literally on the table for people like me to snatch up. ;)
