The Taco Bell Marketing Method
You’re probably wondering what the heck I am talking about…
When’s the last time you went to Taco bell? If you’re like me and LOVE taco bell, it was probably pretty recent.
Now, when you were ordering your food, did you notice anything different about the order as compared to McDonalds, Wendy’s, Burger King, etc?
Every time I have gone, either before or at the end of the order, the cashier asked me if I would like to try a caramel empanada or one of their new smoothie drinks.
Why? Because they can’t offer you a bigger taco or bigger burrito like McDonalds can offer you a bigger drink and fry.
I don’t have have any numbers or statistics for how many people take the offers that Taco Bell offers but I bet it’s at the very least a few percent.
Now think about it. How many of us are profitable and just content with that profit? We fall into that mentality that, “I can’t offer a direct upsell so I’ll just be content.”
The fact is, if we simply can think of ways to offer a simple any type of upsell or cross sell to our traffic, any thing extra is just all profit to us.
My goal is to figure out ways to incorporate this as best as possible into affiliate marketing.
