I just installed a new wordpress ad management plugin that I cannot say a single bad thing about. Honestly, it was so easy and simple to set up that it literally took just a few minutes to setup and get going.
This Ad management plugin for wordpress is called OIO Publisher.
One of the main things about affiliate marketing and monetizing websites is the ability to optimize your earnings to the maximum potential. For Blog postings, Selling private adspace can be time consuming but will result in the most income. Therefore, the creators of OIO Publisher have created this plugin to take all the work out of selling private ads on your wordpress blogs.
Essentially with this plugin, you upload it, activate, create ad spots (like the 6 I have on my homepage), and then insert some code into the template and you're done. Now you can sell ad banners on your blog with essentially no effort.
This software does not only sell banner space for you, it also can be used to sell text links and reviews as well! (I'm currently working on implementing this but ran out of time.)
The main thing about this plugin that I am really liking is the fact that it's super transparent. It generates reports for the advertisers for you and even emails it to them automatically. Sweet! No work at all.
You can see an example of the purchase page which allows people to automatically sign up for ad purchases here.
Another neat feature that I REALLY like is the ability to GEO Target your ads. So if people want to purchase a US Traffic only banner, you can do it!
Yet another great feature is there is a built in affiliate program which (if enabled, mine is disabled) allows people to get commissions for selling your adspace! I'm planning on enabling this one and seeing how well it works.
One last thing that this software really has going for it is the Market place listing. When you purchase the software, your site get's listed in a "market place" (directory) that is on the OIOPublisher website.
Currently the marketplace is in the beginning stages but I talked to the marketing director who says that they have good plans on expanding it! That'll be awesome.
Cost: Now, this ad system does cost $37 bucks but it's well worth it for what you get. There is literally so much in this package that makes it well worth the $37 that I would buy it again... but that's the great thing, I dont need to because you can use it on as many sites in your network for a one time price...
EDIT: 200th post. Sweet! ![]()
