Interesting Google Ad

Learn the techniques I used to make over $4,000,000 in affiliate commissions! Check out my Free Affiliate Marketing Guide and learn the "how to" for Facebook Ads, PPC Affiliate Marketing, PPV / CPV Affiliate Marketing, And Media Buying!

This is a pretty interesting google ad I found while doing some research tonight.

I never knew you could do the display URL like this.

The last part shows: --click.info

Pretty good exploit if you ask me.

EDIT: Decided to look further into the domain... WHOIS.

Seems to be registered to "Verizon Trademark Services LLC?"

That is definitely one that I’ve never seen before. Someone definitely was doing some outside the box thinking on that one.

  2. Yea. I hope I didn’t just ruin that guys ad campaign (sorry) ;)

    That’s interesting..

You can also insert dynamic keywords at the end of your domain.

    ( domain.com/keyword )

    This helps with the CTR.

Guys, you realize that VerizonRingtones.com isn’t the domain right? So it makes no point checking the whois on this one, it is more likely to be the comain click.info, or none of these at all. The “marketer” just faked the display url, that is nothing new and your ads will get disapproved, sometimes very fast sometimes it takes time until Google discovers it.

  5. Marc, I think that’s obvious… That was the point of the post ;)

Well, you said “I never knew you could do the display URL like this.” so I guess I was confused by this sentence. :P

@Marc: Oh my bad. I’m not the best writer. :P :)

    @Prija: Cool contest idea.

Hot diggity dog, that’s some fine marketing.

Wish I’d thought of it first. :D

You’re looking at it from the wrong angle. Valid domain is COM–CLICK.INFO

    (private registration)

    Nifty idea.
