Growth Pains

Recently, my campaigns have been doing really well. Too well almost.

I’ve actually had to pause some campaigns because I’m getting too close to my credit limit on my credit card. Heh. When calling the credit card company, try explaining that you’re making $20,000+ a month as a 20 year old kid… they believe you. (Do you feel the sarcasm?)

So this is where the affiliate part comes in. A big part of affiliate success can come from researching your product. Before I start a campaign I always Wikipedia the subject and do some generalize google searches.

Doing so can help you create both more keyword ideas and also help build your negative keyword list. For example, maybe a certain type of offer is not legal in California. You would know to target your campaign to 49 states resulting in an instant increase in profit.

Additionally, doing research on it will help you find the unique advantages which will help you to sell it to your visitors… And boom, your landing page is set. ;)
