So I decided it would be fun to try some of the "get rich quick" schemes that are seemingly littered all over Digital Point.

Most of these posts look something similar to: "Spend $x To make $x!!" or "I will teach you how to make $X Just sign up under me! PM Me for more details"

I decided it would be interesting and fun to test some of these out. So where do I start...

First thing I did was I went around telling all the people to PM me that had created some sort of scheme. Most of the ideas required a pretty minimal investment so I'm not going to break the bank over them.

Some of the ideas included: Spamming Craigslist with an Auto posting bot, Sending Paid traffic to a Pay per click affiliate, And some which I couldn't quite tell what they do.

Most of these ideas seemed either illegal, spammy, or just plain dumb. Mainly the programs that promise "Make $100,000 in 60 days" I plan to stay as far away from as possible.

So the most legit program seemed to be sending paid traffic to a pay per click affiliate. Interesting idea.

First, I signed up with a traffic system, EasyHits4U, then I paid $28 bucks to get 5000 paid visitors. That's $0.0056 cents per click... shouldn't be hard to make a profit with this right?

Next I signed up for ProductReview Australia which pays me $0.05 AUD per click. With the rate of the current US dollar thats worth what, $5000 US? (kidding)

So now the traffic just started coming from Easy Hits 4 U and it seems to be working actually... This is crazy.

After testing some other places ClixGalore has actually brought even better returns by joining some campaigns that pay $0.10 AUD per click! :) Try them out for sure!

Just about 30 minutes after activating the traffic I've made about $1.55. Let's see if I can actually make the return on investment.

Hopefully I dont get banned from Product Review Australia.

Try it out and let me know if it works for you too.

EDIT: 1 Hour Update. Seems to be going well still. I added some more per click campaigns and they're performing well also. I wonder how long I can milk this gravy train?!

EDIT: I've found that ClixGalore has worked really well too. :D I added it to the post above. Tomorrow I'll give you some stats.

EDIT: 24 Hour Update. Seems I've made back all the investment + some in just 24 hours and still have about 1700 clicks left to go. I'm not going to invest a ton more into the system until I get paid. That's going to be the real test!! Hehe.

I’m sure they gonna ban you. At least send them traffic only during australian daytime, or whenever aussie might use it.

Smaug says 30th December @ 4:59

Hi, looks like you doing well with my scheme ;) I’ve discovered to get good amount of free traffic and you don’t have to do anything, I’ll pm you at DP.

And thank you for signing under me at clixgalore - you’re doing really well I see.

Smaug says 30th December @ 5:12

…and for others that doubt this I made about $260 already - here’s what I made today:

I wonder whether you guys will actually get paid. Both ProductReview and ClixGalore clearly state that they don’t allow “pay per click” traffic.

alojate.com says 30th December @ 11:38

Wow, this post is great.
There are so many such information on DP forums but not real reviews. Members that offer a review of the products just say somerthing like “very good product, try it yourself. I give it 4/5″, but you never know what it is about or how much money you can really make.
I will keep a close eye on your comments.
Thanks

Ricardo says 30th December @ 12:12

Smaug, it seems that I need to get your scheme too :P

Jonathan Volk says 30th December @ 13:31

I personally think the accounts will be banned as well, hence the reason for testing. :)

It’s only $30 bucks and it’s sure fun! :D

That’s funny… I actually just finished documenting this method in my post on my blog.

One problem I had whch you dont seem to is that though I got many clicks only some of them counted as “unique”…. which was only a few of them.

Ar you sending traffic from Australia only or from anywhere?
It seems most programs on there filter traffic from the country specified… unless you got lucky…

Scott Weaver says 30th December @ 21:32

Man, this is exactly what I’ve been thinking about lately. Essentially, what it comes down to for me is- although I’ve dabbled in things that are schemish and they gave good returns, ultimately I feel bad.

Not to mention the fact that I could have my money revoked at any moment due to violations of the terms of service; this doesn’t help the feeling any.

Anyway, that’s why one of my affiliate resolutions is to make sure anything I do is something on the up and up. It’s just better for better for business in general.

Jonathan Volk says 30th December @ 23:14

Dhira, I filter the Currency to the traffic. So if it pays in AUD then I only send Australian traffic.

Not all my clicks have been tracked either, many are not counted. Hehe.

Scott, The main reason why I dont mind trying these things for fun is because I dont rely on the money at all. I could lose 100% of it and not get too much of a hit from it.

You have a great point. You should never base your entire income off these type of things. Once it dries up, you’re scrambling to find the next scheme. That’s certainly not a good way to live.

Dhira | Internet Marketing Blog says 31st December @ 11:12

I purchased some ‘credits’ from them, and didn’t come across a way of choosing where the traffic is from.
Also I don’t see the credits in my account.

Are they legit? How did you select Australian traffic?

Jonathan Volk says 31st December @ 11:18

Dhira, It takes up to 48 hours to get the credits. (It took me about 6 hours to get mine).

Also, when you first join, you can select country. I cant remember it if was asking where I lived or what, but I selected AUS regardless just because I knew that the place was going to want AUS traffic.

Do you know that clixgalore doesnt approve of such traffic. Traffic from autosurf site or pay to click sites and Ezhits is exactly that. If that account is important to you i say you stop the campaign because you are gonna get banned right before payment anyways. Goodluck though

Jonathan Volk says 31st December @ 15:57

Jaree, I expected from the beginning for the account to be banned.
I thought I made it clear that the account was not important to me ;)

jhn2001 says 1st January @ 6:04

Just by getting impressions on sites will definately get you ban . u need to make people write some good review too . i have found a simple way to do that ;) lets see if i succeed . if i’ll say the trick now everyone would start doing it which will eventually get all of us ban . i m willing to share it after i get my first month payment check . though its a faraway but am waiting curiously

jhn2001 says 1st January @ 6:06

also i did not had to pay a penny to test unlike your easyhits4u . regards jhn2001

Jonathan Volk says 1st January @ 12:57

Cool. I’d love to hear it if you wanna email me: jon {at} thanvolk.com

Lhd333 says 1st January @ 15:45

Jonathan, just so I’m clear, is clixgalore like adbrite? Did you just build a landing page and add some clixgalore publisher ads to your page?

Seab says 6th January @ 14:01

What a shitty as plan to make money

@jhn2001,
I like to hear about your success, and also your method if you are willing to reveal it to me :)

Any update to this?

BuyLaptopNow.com says 16th February @ 9:23

Have you been banned :-D?

Jamie says 17th March @ 19:54

Great post :) thanks

vtspot says 27th March @ 12:54

I got banned by sending EasyHits4u to the product review site. If you check you stat in productreview, you will notice that most of the referrer url is from autosurf.

Dhira | Internet Marketing Blog says 27th March @ 15:23

Jonathan,

How did your test go? Did you get paid by clixgalore? And are you still earning with them?
