Ebay / Craigslist are my friend.

Thursday, Apr 19th, 2007 by Jonathan Volk

Recently I’ve been selling a bunch of items on Ebay and Craigslist. I’ve been trying to make some room so I can purchase a 42″ 1080P LCD Tv to use both as a new TV and a monitor.

So far I’ve sold 6 items and made some good money. Tomorrow I’m hoping to sell this speaker system (4 floor standing speakers I have), and an old 19″ CRT monitor.

I’m trying to sell $1,500 worth of stuff this month to pay for the new computer I just purchased. :)

All this to say… never think, “I cant afford a new computer.” Always think, “How can I afford a new computer with 42″ monitor?”

I got this concept from my dad when I was young after he read Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Instead of I cant afford it, you should always think, “How can I afford it.” It’s so true and is necessary thinking for those wanting to get into internet marketing.
