This brings up a larger point that is so true yet often so understated…namely, that most people really only scratch the surface in terms of their promotion efforts. Even with a single promotion effort, there's often more that could be done than the average affiliate takes the time to do. Take PPC, for example…Most affiliates (and merchants) don't *really* delve as deep as they could in terms of ad group structuring, landing page optimization, split testing, adding additional keywords, etc… There's too much of this set it and forget it mentality in this business, ala "let's promote 10 offers each making $100 per day". In my mind that model is difficult to work with longterm (stretches you too thin), and is NOT the most profitable. Rather, go deep–really deep–into one or two markets.
