Hey Jonathan,

I just got into PPC/CPA stuff, really fun, and I guess the most difficult part seems to be the keyword research, using the right tools, and figuring out how to put everything together. Maybe you can write a good article on how you approach something, and maybe the tools you use :)

Thanks!

With regards to Yahoo, how do you maintain 5/5 quality scores? Do you find that it's a combination of very high CTR and a lot of impressions and clicks? In your screenshot you had a CTR of over 9%. That seems very high to keep over a long period of time. Is there a trick to get it so high besides split A/B testing? I've had a CTR even higher than this but it was an ad group with only a couple keywords. I've seen that even if you have a very high CTR if you don't have a lot of traffic you won't get 5 bars. Have you noticed a minimum CTR that you need to get 5 bars and a minimum amount of impressions per day? Approximately how many keywords do you keep in an ad group? Do you try to group them by three or four common words or you think two is enough?

With Google, about how many keywords do you put together in one ad group? Say, for instance, you group keywords having three common words but your list has 1000 keywords. Do you put this entire list into one ad group or break them up into smaller groups? If you put them into smaller groups, do you just separate them by just taking say 15 words at a time and making a new group or would you look for another common word?

Thanks very much for your insight!
