Learn the techniques I used to make over $4,000,000 in affiliate commissions! Check out my Free Affiliate Marketing Guide and learn the "how to" for Facebook Ads, PPC Affiliate Marketing, PPV / CPV Affiliate Marketing, And Media Buying!

You are owed $150,000,000! Just wire me $15,000 to pay for processing and I will get you the money.

You know... those emails we all get!

I got one the other day that was really impressive. Now these guys are using SOCIAL MEDIA to further validate their point. Don't worry, it's that "ugly step child", myspace, that they're using.

I just thought it was funny because in a sense, it's a bit like having a FLOG. Flogs validate products by using false stories. This guy validates himself using a fake social media profile.

Check this out:

Dear Jonathan!
Hope you are doing well in Christ Jesus. Thanks a lot for your wonderful amazing response towards my humble request. I really embraced it.
First and fore most, ''My mission is a continuation of Jesus' Mission on earth.'' Thus; As Father has sent me, I also do send you into the world.'' Thus said the Lord Jesus!
{Read John 17:18]
My prayer is that; I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me.{ Read Acts 20:24} I was created for a mission by God for God.
God has given each of us some special abilities; He asks us to be sure to use them to help each other, passing on to others God's many kinds of blessings. 1 peter4:10.
James 1:27, thus says; ''Pure religion and undefiled before God the Father is this; To visit the Fatherless and widows in their affliction .''
This is exactly what i am doing in the Kingdom of God the Father. I am therefore, calling upon the attention of all God's men and women who gets to hear of this trumpet divine call to come and partner with me in this Great Commission as it clearly states in Mat 28:19-20. Surely, may the Almighty God bless you as you positively respond to this Divine call.

Hi, Jonathan, '' Whoever, wants to be great must become a servant.''
Mark10:43. And servants think of Ministry as an opportunity not an obligation.
'' To be a servant, you must think like a servant. Thus; Philp 2:5 says; Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus!
However, ''Greatness is not found in possessions ,power, position or prestige. It is discovered in goodness, humility, service and character.True Greatness, is achieved not by reducing men to one's service but by giving oneself in selfless service to them. ''
With those remarks therefore, I humbly welcome your supportive hand in this Great Commission. We are currently taking care of over Fifty Vulnerable Orphaned Children and involved in a variety of activities and programs as well.
Hello, Jonathan! I believe It is just God who has linked you to us after realizing, there is a need on the ground! Surely, there is a need. May you please come and be a blessing to these Orphans? Be our contact person in that side Oh, Dear. I joined myspace and my URL is; www.myspace.com/george.katuntu. May you please take a moment of time and get there, hope you will embrace it! Thanks.

Now they are ministers of God, great! retards will still fall for that!

    2. good ole “Jesus” or “God” will get you the money…

    3. It is quite a smart scam to prey upon religious types. Many people will blindly give money when they think it is going to something to do with God. It will be interesting to see how these scammers adapt to new technology. In time we will likely see them popping up in other places like facebook.

    4. Derek says:

Oh man. I think the poor women listed under his friends might have been some of the “suckers”

    5. ATV for Sale says:

Yes I bet lots of people fell for this one. The people still on myspace are probably more gullible and that is why they were targeted.

    6. As the Internet changes, the methods of spamming and scamming will keep changing… I honestly believe we will see much more of this in the future, there is probably a lot of money in this as people tend to “trust” these social networking sites… Many thinks “You have a SM profile? You must be real!” – sad but true. :-)

    7. Joshua says:

How suprised are you do you think emails work anymore? Another new method is people will start up a blog and take pictures of african children and have donate button and ask for money for them.

Scammers will always exsist just have to be aware of them.

    8. Diabetis says:

It looks like that those scammers are learning a few tricks on affiliate marketing.

    9. It's Just Me says:

You should rename your post to just “SCAMMERS Now Using Social Media” as to not single out African scammers as if they are the only ones scamming people. There are tons of scammers world wide in comparison even with the USA. Plus SCAMMERS WORLDWIDE have been using Social Media since its existence, nothing new. The thing is smart Social Networks have implemented ways of reducing or even eliminating scammers from their sites, such as Blocking and Reporting IPs, Identity Verification, and so on.

    10. hospitalera says:

I am married to a priest in the Church of England, you wouldn’t believe the stuff we get ;-) Or, by second thought, perhaps you would ;-) SY

    11. Hiya Jonathan! I found your blog because John Chow recommended it. I like what you’re up to and this post specifically caught my eye. It is the latest take on the classic Nigerian 419 scam, and believe you me they are catching people out with this nonsense! As PT Barnum once said…there is a fool born every minute! Priceless, but ironically so!

    12. used tires says:

Wow… using religion to get what they want… sad really… I wonder how much money they rake in as a result of this…. :(

      Till then,

      Jean

    13. Groomez says:

Isn’t it funny to know that Dennis Yu throws these real scams into the same boat as leveraging social apps for advertising offers?

I think I just threw up in my mouth a bit

    14. vivian says:

This is not the rare case. Those people likes to target the net user with super brand names like yahoo mega lottery, microsoft corp charity fair give up, BMW challenge series mega draw.

wired transfer by winner to organizer is the last step in the process. Afterward there is even no chance of return mail or message from fake organizers. they gets disappear instantly.

    15. Minimink says:

How would you promote it? And how would you advise others to promote?
