Twitter Contest

Is it just me or has there been a HUGE lack of blog contests out recently?

I remember at one point, there seemed to be 100 contests going on at one time, (mostly marketleverage… lol). Recently this seems to have come to a standstill.

So I wanted to run an easy twitter / facebook fan / blog contest and give away some nice prizes!

Prizes:

First Prize:
First prize is going to win a DUAL 22″ Monitor set. Each monitor is 1920×1080 (1080P HD) widescreen for maximum efficiency!

Second Prize:

• $50 Amazon Gift Card

Third Prize:

• $50 Amazon Gift Card

Contest

The way to win is really simple… the more points you get, the better your chances are at winning. This levels the playing field so anyone can win!

• Twitter: Simply Tweet (or RT) any number of my blog posts over the span of the contest period with @JonathanVolk in the twitter message. Doing so will give you 2 points per message tweeted. To tweet a post, simply mention the post in your tweet and include a bit.ly link or similar to the a post. You can tweet any number of posts from the past as well.

  5 points will be given for tweeting about this contest post.

• Follow my twitter and/or my twitter affiliate marketing list. – 1 Point for each.
• Facebook: Become a fan of my fanpage – 1 Point.
• Subscribe to this blog’s RSS via Email – 1 point.
• Make a blog post about me or this contest – 5 points.

Points will be totaled and a random number will be generated using random.org. This will happen three times – first, second, third.

Rules

- No fake / spam twitter or facebook accounts will be counted.
- You have 30 days from today to earn as many points as possible.
- Winners will be emailed, @ messaged or facebooked and must respond within 2 days with their details. If no reply, a new winner will be chosen.
- If the winner of the monitors is not from the US, a cash equivalent MIGHT be presented to the winner so they can buy the monitors.
