NOTE: Not An April Fools Prank!
It's been a while since I did a nice contest that gave some prizes away to my readers so when I was contacted by my super cool Affiliate Manager Ashley (nickname Ashless), who then set me up with Eric, I was excited to see it happen.
Well, Clickbooth went all out for this contest and will allow just about everyone to win something! 
Instead of having just a few people win prizes for doing whatever, they are giving away awesome prizes to each and every person who hits the level of income listed above!
Contest Overview:
- The competition will run from April 1st (12:00AM) to April 30th (11:59pm ET)
- This contest is for new referrals only that sign up through THIS link.
Participants MUST enter the code “CBVOLKCompetition” in the comments section of the Publisher sign up page in order to be eligible for the contest.- New referrals that are accepted into the network will try and earn as much as they can by April 30th. There will be 9 tiers, each with a different corresponding prize. As long as you hit the minimum tier ($1,000), you are guaranteed a prize.
Now, let's talk prizes... my favorite part.
- $1000 - $2499.99 - A Clickbooth gift bag.

This is an awesome little item! Basically, you hook your camera up to it and it allows you to take pictures that are way less "Myspacey." I mean, seriously, nobody want's to see your face that close or you posing in a mirror anymore! Haha

All I have to say about this prize is, I WANT IT. My girlfriend and I have decided to not buy any more gaming systems until we have a house to put them in (when we're married)... So I've been missing out on all the latest guitar hero songs. I over played the Wii Guitar hero and beat all of it except for the last level on expert... which I have deemed impossible by any normal human. Haha... - $20,000 - $49,999.99 - Trip for 2 to Las Vegas for 3 days, 2 nights. Vegas can be really fun! I went there for a business meeting a few months back and had a great time! I highly recommend the rides on top of the tower... although be prepared to be very scared. Having them on top of the tower makes for probably one of the scariest experiences I have ever had (And I've been sky diving!).

Extra Rules to know about:
- Winners may swap their prize for a PayPal payment of equal value, but must make contact before the prize is sent.
- For international publishers (residing outside of the US), in the event that we cannot find a company that ships your prize internationally to your country, Clickbooth will compensate by sending a PayPal payment or bank wire payment (depending on the prize value) for the value of the prize.
- In order to be eligible for the competition, publishers must be new referrals who sign up under John Volk's Clickbooth referral link during April. No exceptions.
- Any publisher caught doing illegal measures such as fraud or being in violation of the affiliate network’s Terms of Service will not be eligible for a prize.

Lame. Why only new signups? Sure, it’s clear that the whole point is to get new publishers to sign up for their network but by blocking out affiliates already signed up with them they are missing out on an opportunity to get some of the bigger affiliates to come back over to them…at the very least to try to win and if they played their cards right they could maybe keep them longer.
Instead they only get a handful of noobs that sign up and probably never make all that much while ONE of the super affiliates that somehow hasn’t already joined comes in and dominates.
At least they were somewhat smart and made earnings requirements so they don’t “waste” prizes on noobs making $4 and winning.
They have a contest for publishers that are already signed up as well.
Okay so now that its not April 1st, and you can now tell us the truth, is this for real? =D

Although the prizes are nice, if you think about it, if you win $100,000 in 30 days then you wouldn’t really need a 55″ TV from them, you could buy one yourself.
