Yesterday I talked about outsourcing certain tasks and projects.
One of the most commonly needed outsourced tasks is developing a landing page. Finding someone to do this and do it well is very, very difficult. Good designers are usually either way to expensive or very flaky.
Another one of the most commonly needed outsourced tasks is coding. Coding is one of those subjects you simply cannot do if you don't have a heart to learn it or simply don't have time to learn. Yet again it's a very difficult task to find a good coder that is fast and cost effective.
That's why, when the guys who designed my blog decided to put together a group of premade professional grade landing pages for some of the most common niches, I was extremely happy and excited to see them!
Then things were launched today and I was really impressed with the results and beautiful landing pages that they came up with. You can check them out here!
The reason these premade landing pages were really impressive to me is that it takes care of the two major issues described above. First, it solves the issue of having to find a designer. These pages are completely designed for you and as such provide a great way for you to cost effectively and efficiently have landing pages.
Next, they programmed a whole admin panel which allows you to change the layout, logo, colors, fonts, background, header graphic, even rollover button color - all without touching a single line of code.
The cost for 6 of these themes ranges from $97 to $197 which if you think about the cost for even just a single landing page is such a good deal. A fully custom landing page coded and design ranges anywhere from $100 to a few hundred dollars. So for the cost of a single page you're getting 6.
As well as getting the awesome 6 landing pages, you also get a bunch of audio interviews from some top notch affiliate marketers and bloggers such as Ryan Wade, Zac Johnson, John Chow, Gobala Krishnan, Jonathan Volk (hey that's me!) and Jim Kukral.
My interview was over 35 minutes long on the phone and had some really, really good questions (and hopefully answers).
Here is a video that the guys at unique blog designs put together about the Affiliate Theme.
This is such a great deal for both starting and seasoned affiliates... You can check it out here.

This is a life saver – my biggest concern was trying to build landing pages or trying to find credible designers, but now I can create my own effective ones now!
Thanks Jon!
Yup! Let me know how it works out for ya!

Wow some of those layouts look pretty good, especially the dating one. I’ve always avoided using WordPress for landing pages mainly because I hate using overused free templates and didn’t have enough time to make my own, might give these a looky
When you have enough traffic, you have audience that will be your potential customers when you start making money . It is the first key.

This is awesome, thanks!
Welcome!
I just bought this theme today and I can’t wait to start playing around with it.
Awesome! Let me know how it works out!
So far a good number of you have purchased… I am wanting to hear some feedback from those who have purchased them.
How easy is it for Google to take these site over their knee at spank them like a redhead stepchild?
Google can slap any page… but it’s how you do your campaigns and content.
They previous theme was a crap but these one are definitely much better.
The themes are definitely very good and can come as a time saver when setting up quick campaigns.
I’m definitely going to have to apply. I made a landing page for my own product and I can’t get the damn thing to sell.
Needless to say, a lot of effort has to go in designing the right landing page that can enhance a website’s conversion rate. One might have to even try out different design options and see which one works best.
[...] More detailed Review Of the Actual Product: Because I just recently reviewed the theme, I don’t want to rehash the entire post. So instead, check out the post here. [...]
John, can I ask you a sensitive question? Have you ever copied (stolen) a landing page?
In my earlier days I did but I try not to anymore.
OK, let me give you an example (I’m still getting my feet wet, though I’m an experienced programmer & SEO).
I plan to make a landing page in a ‘diary’ fashion, highlighting how 2 products enabled ‘me’ (a 30 year old woman…) to reach a goal relating to health (I’m sure you can guess the goal). Then I plan to do media buys with banner ads (2 weird tips/secrets to _____).
Now, I’m not really this person, I’d be crafting someone else’s diary. And I see several landing pages already doing this. So, what’s the difference in creating the same thing, or just borrowing and changing some parameters?
