The numbers are worse every month in housing, unemployment, Federal debt, trade deficit, etc. But Obama and his loonies keep calling it a recovery. At what point does somebody stand up and say: Hey, it's more like a disaster than a recovery!

Louis,

Nothing wrong with enjoying life by buying what YOU want and what pleases you, as opposed to feeling the need to impress others. Just depends on what you like. Some superaffiliates I know tell others their watch is a fake, when it's actually real-- as the only person who needs to know is them.

That guy from Yahoo, Billionaire and driving a mid range Audi, what a greedy! I mean I consider my self a mid range affiliate marketer and I had a better car than that and it's not that I'm BROKE for doing that. Doesn't make sense the hard work if we don't reward ourselves from time to time.

People like to try and generalize others to understand them and find a formula. The fact is that many billionaires view wealth differently and that they don't all think alike.

I have three billionaire friends. One would agree with this post, one would disagree, and the third wouldn't be bothered to read it

Andrew,

You should ask Jonathan if you can do a follow on guest post here. I think the insights you've gained into internet marketing are fresh and readers here will appreciate what you have to say.

Jean.
Money Management courses are required to gradute highschool, at least at my school. Got mine done freshman year.

The only problem with this class is that most of the students slack off and pay little attention. That is the reason why people are in debt...not because these classes are not being taught.

In a way if you think about it.... money is like holding Candy in front of a Baby. When you have it, it is easy to spend it, just like Candy is good, so it's easy to consume it. But it's much harder to save that candy for a later day.

I've always thought that proper financial management and what is the proper way to deal with money, should be thought in High Schools across America, our students should learn about money, and how to properly manage, but unfortunately we are left to learn it on our own. And alot of us do end up making mistakes, that's why we have such a high % of people in debt today.

I am lucky to have learned from watching my parents make mistake, and right now I am currently a college student majoring in Finance, hehe.

Till then,

Danger-- by no means am I accusing you of falling for the errors described in the post. I wanted to generate a PR4 link for you, so I used this post as a way to introduce this article, since it was reading your note that triggered the thought here.

Andrew Commander-- That is true. Instead of going from a $500 to a $1,000 bike, I waited and then splurged for a $4,000 bike. Some people might think that's excessive, but you might consider that there are a number of bikes well above $10,000 ridden by folks who can barely ride. And yes-- affiliate marketing is quite stable income, provided you have an exclusive relationship with an advertiser that has a solid product-- for example, a Quiznos or Fortune 500 company.

Looking forward to reading more at www.andrewcommander.com!
