Happy New Years… Early

Today is the last day of 2008.

Which means for me that today is like second Christmas. Why? Because today (and yesterday) are the days I try to spend as much as possible on tax deductible items as possible.

The way I think of it is that from my profit, I have a pool of money that is going to the government. Taxes and death are the two things that everyone deals with in life.

Now the great government has created ways for us to dip our hand in their lovely lovely pool of money we have made them by purchasing / spending money on tax deductible items / services.

So I like to spend as much as possible on things that will further my business instead of just sending a giant check to the good ol’ IRS. It’s perfectly legal and furthers your business. Win, win!
