I remember I got a call once trying to offer me the same for enrolling into a free trial of their credit protection. The guy even had the nerve to say "You'd have to be stupid to not take advantage of this offer. I know you've got to be smart enough." I really couldn't believe it. Banks are hurting though right now as we all know, so who knows what kind of other dire tricks they will use. BTW. Cash back credit cards are great! LOL.
