So that time is coming up when the deadline comes for you to register to vote... As an American (if you are), it's your duty to vote so do it.
If you're an affiliate, you should be thinking about your well being. ALL Affiliates should vote for McCain in my opinion. There was a really funny banner I saw on Wickedfire.com which you can see a part of above.
Reasons Why Affiliates Should Vote McCain:
- First and foremost... If you work hard enough at affiliate marketing, you can earn a sizeable income. $250,000 a year is something I believe is achievable by a large number of affiliates if you apply yourself to PPC and don't be lazy. That means, if you vote Obama and you plan to be an affiliate, you're literally making your profit margins automatically lower... Common think about it. Obama has promised tax increases to anyone making $250,000 a year. LAME.
- Refer to above.
- Obama's Middle name... Enough Said. Hahaha...
- Obama's Church is one that clearly states how they are "True to their native land..." Africa. Wow. That's the perfect place for the President of the United States to go... There are also statements on that site which are almost racist in a sense.
- People Think Obama will help the economy, but all his policies that I have seen do nothing but spend more of the rich people's money. Annoying
- You shouldn't waste your vote on a third party. Literally that's throwing your vote in the garbage... Don't vote. Pick the lesser of two evils (McCain) and make it actually count.
- Etc, etc, etc.... Research it for yourself.
Another interesting thing is that McCain will give an overall better tax break to ALL people. Sounds good to me!!!

So all that to say... Every affiliate should vote McCain. He's the better of the two and won't steal all your money via tax hikes.
Featured Money Maker Of The Month:

Here’s how everybody SHOULD look at it:
I’m voting because of the vice president. Palin is a PSYCHO and Biden is alright. My reason is this: If McCain is elected, he will have a heart attack in office and die, thereby giving leadership to Palin, and if Obama is, he will get shot.
Biden > Palin
Anyone too stupid to know the middle name thing is a joke should vote for Obama. Lol. Carry on.
LOL @ Anon… Now that’s reasoning!
Funny.
@Stefan, you say Obama supporters don’t care about mcCain?! Have you read the comments in this post. Holy crap. Lol You couldn’t be more wrong!
I have to agree with anon above, anybody who would put Palin in a position that one day might run your country should not be given the light of day…
@Jeremy
I meant to clarify that the income of $5k monthly was for Zac’s blog, if I didn’t mention it, then my fault. And you say let the rich be rich. Yeah, I’ll let them be rich when they start paying more damn taxes. If you can afford it, then you can afford to pay more taxes.
I think that’s why America is going deeper into poverty from my point of view, all because the wealthy are getting all these “breaks” you say.
And who pays for their “breaks.” Us “middle-class” citizens. Its in relation to what is going on in the economy now today, these banks make a big screw up (so I hear) by lending to people who don’t have good enough credit, OR EVEN A JOB! So what happens results in something us taxpayers have to pay back.
Bottom line, the wealthy need to get a kick in the ass and start paying out a little more in taxes. Maybe then us lower/middle-class families can keep a little more change in our pockets to actually INVEST in our future or something.
And I really do condemn you on the statement you made:
“Isn’t that the truth. + They’re so focused on voting for a brother that they don’t even know what Barrack stands for.”
Was that to be a stereotypical or racist remark?
@Dustin
“Isn’t that the truth. + They’re so focused on voting for a brother that they don’t even know what Barrack stands for.”
Call it what you like, I figured some people would take it as racist. I meant it like this: People are so focused on voting for someone they know nothing about just because he’s the “newest, coolest thing around” (just like buying a firby back in the 90’s) that they don’t know anything about him. Again, you’re free to interpret as you like. Just remember: “He who is offended when offense is not intended, is a fool; he who is offended when offense is intended, is also a fool.”
Peace Out.
And just for the record: I would love to vote for an African American. I almost want to vote for him, just for that reason (condemn me for that too), but when I stand back and look at what he’s actually done, and how bad he could/is going to screw things up. I get a bit worried.
@Jeremy
You don’t know what he’s going to screw up? Give me some suggestions on what he has fucked up on so far? I would love to hear this! Unless you can provide 5-10 things he’s done to fuck up (which I can probably match on McCain) then your not making any point proven here.
He seems like he’s working for the people unlike McCain who wants to throw out everything he can find to make Barack look bad. For instance: Saving gas miles, he took Barack’s statement of “Properly inflating tires” as a joke to save gas. In reality, it really does work. Look at that, something so damn simple to do to save gas mileage and McCain laughs about it. He must REALLY think American citizens are a joke.
And to choose Palin, the one person who tried to get her brother-in-law kicked off of law enforcement. You would think as a governor, you would want the people in Alaska to be safe. Being one less trooper isn’t going to make things better.
Both really need to step back and look at the U.S. as a whole and everything. I can tell you now, both lack smarts and therefore neither will get into the White House.
But trust me, I’m not a fool. But when you attack (or even make it sound like your attacking a specific race, gender, nationality, etc.) Your bound to look like the fool yourself.
Good post, Jon.
I had a good laugh at all these pro-Obama posts. Shows how ignorant some people are.
And to those who don’t want to vote McCain because he chose Palin as his VP due to “lack of experience,” take a good look at where Barrack is coming from.
The only difference is Barrack had 20 months to prove himself, whilst Palin had about six weeks.
This is called – “LinkBait
” Look how many comments you have Jon!
Listen, I’m proud to pay my fair share of taxes. We spend on our military so other countries won’t “F**K” with us, we spend on education so we can have an efficient society, and most of all – we give taxes so that we can make up for the deficiencies that capitalism tends to cause.
Don’t be a moocher, if you live, you pay.
@Chris: Probably one of the best comments.
@Chris Haha yeah I have to agree with Chris. Great comment! Jon, what you tryna stir up? lol.
America is nothing but a big fuckin’ ghetto… I’m not voting for anyone and will split my time between Holland, Canada, Germany, and the Greek Islands.
yeah, vote for mc cain! he can accelerate the downfall of the staates what bush already successfully initiated!
from a healthy and wealthy country to a country with an economy owned by china and arabic countries within 8 years.
you really should get real now, it’s almost too late. i’m not that concerned since i live in europe, but still i prefer the staates being a world power instead the ones in the east.
every world power such as the romans ended because of its ignorance and greed. exactly what happend now with the suprime crisis…
foreign countries bought cheap shares of your companies and own it know and as soon as the oil price will be uncoupled from the dollar your economy will be lost!
think about it before it’s too late! but actually it’s already too late in my humble opinion. think about this in ten years! and think about it if it wouldn’t have been worth to pay a little bit more taxes in the past.
[...] Jonathan Volk didn’t hear that because he either did something really stupid or something brilliantly smart [...]
Congrats on the Linkbait, if that was the plan
Lets set one thing straight, if your an IM and you make over 250k a year and your not incorporated then go close down your adwords account because you won’t make it in ANY business long term! Obama is backed by so many Hedge Fund Managers he knows about the economy and if you get pissed about income tax over 250k like i said start your corp and pay a reasonable amount!
I’m from Australia and I subscribed to this blog because it was an affiliate marketing blog.
Unsubscribed.
Not only does this post make you look pompous and uninformed but comments like this “Obama’s Middle name… Enough Said. Hahaha…” make you look like an ignorant redneck. I am an owner of a very popular content based website and have been a reader of your blog for the past several months because it was recommended to me by a friend in the affiliate marketing community. I’m not going to try and voice a big political argument because obviously it is not worth it. Regardless of whether you support McCain or Obama, this post makes me question anything that you ever wrote. It is a sharply pointed attack from one side that shows a lack of intelligence that is mind boggling. I will not be following up this reply as I will be unsubscribing to your RSS feed after submitting.
You know, Jonathan… McCain has uttered the word “draft” on more than one occasion, and you’re still in the eligible age group should that happen. Do you believe in this war enough to sacrifice and fight, should your country need/draft you? God forbid, but If that happens, a few extra $$ in taxes would be the least of your worries.
Also, how is McCain gonna cut everyone’s taxes & continue pouring $10,000,000,000.00 Per Month into Iraq? Bush, Sr., said “read my lips, no new taxes” then he raised taxes. McCain will do the same.
One of the funniest things…let me rephrase that, one of the stupidest things I see people say is that people making over 250,000 dollars a year should be taxed more. WTF??? Why should we be taxed more because we are smart enough to grow a business that does extremely well? Because it’s unfair that you guys get your taxes raised but not us???
Yeah that sounds right…
Also BTW, I’m all for McCain as well, I’m with Jonathan on this one! Woot! Go McCain, now quit saying you people are going to unsubscribe from his blog cause you won’t, you care too much about making money online! Woot!
LOL @ everyone who said they were unsubscribing, LOL @ how his feedburner counter keeps increasing.
@Chad: Guess it proves that there is no such thing as bad publicity.
@Derek Salyers
Simply because if the wealthy can afford it, they SHOULD have to pay more. Its not right they have all this money and can afford all of this luxury, yet they have a big fucking issue with having to pay more taxes. WTF!!! Then you got the “middle-class” who is living paycheck to paycheck because so much taxes is taken out and the rise of consumer costs.
I’d say personally, stop complaining about having to pay more taxes and do it. That statement is for anyone who makes over $250k a year and thinks it sucks to pay more taxes. On average, you have lots of bills to pay.
- Rent ($200-$400)
- Mortgage ($300-$400)
- Electric ($150-$200)
- Water (Unknown)
- Garbage (Unknown)
- Groceries ($100-$150)
- Gas ($80-$150)
- Car Insurance ($150-$300)
Now you tell me, how can your average middle-class American make it by on $800-$900 a month AFTER taxes. I’m sure somebody making $250k can afford that (sarcasm)
That’s all Imma say on this issue. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I’ve given mines.
I respectfully disagree for the reason that the US dollar won’t be worth anything if everyone keeps paying lower and lower taxes. As part of the rich we should be willing to pay more to pay down the debt and that way we’ll earn more when the US dollar goes up. Voting for a republican will only bring higher debts, add to the deficit, lower the US dollar and make us rich guys purchasing power decrease. Either we pay higher taxes now or have to pay higher taxes through inflation of goods and deflation of the value of our money.
@Dexter Domingo
ROFL. You can’t be serious.
@Dustin
“Rent ($200-$400)
- Mortgage ($300-$400)”
I think you may be a little off on those figures.
All I’m gonna say is…thanks for using one of my Wickedfire political banners in the post
Now I’m not an American and so this has little bearing on me (though the UK is very US led). But what you have there is a blatent misrepresentation of the facts.
It is fine you want a candidate that makes things better for you, people often vote that way and left or right wong politics, presonal circumstances etc have a big bearing. BUT to say that overall McCain gives a better tax break to ALL people is frankly an outright lie.
He gives an average better tax break per dollar per head. But for the majority of people they will be worse off, not better. So not only is it a lie to say that he gives a better tax break to ALL people it is a lie to suggest that he gives a better tax break to the majority. The reason for such a difference is his tax breaks to teh rich, not to teh majority.
Now I have liked thi blog because it represents truth, and as I say I have little invested in this presidential race, but I find people twisting facts to meet agendas a disgrace and hope that you will follow this up by claryifying exactly what you mean.
@ImagesAndWords: LOL You did a great job with those banners.
What will war with Iran or Russia do to your affiliate marketing profits? McCain has proven to always think about war and military contracts to solve any issue. That comes first. If we have continuous wars, manipulation of markets and a declining economy, you won’t be making that much money to worry about it. A happy economy makes everyone more money and then we can all pay more as well.
@ Josh Smith: Swear, Go do the research. No joke!
McCain/Obama neither have my vote.
I’m writing in Ron Paul …
If Ron Paul, isn’t President. Say bYE to the USA
This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. Our country is fighting two wars, our economy is on the verge of collapse, and your solution is to vote for someone who will continue on with the same shit that we’ve been served for the last 8 years. This is why Republicans are so successful. They prey on the uneducated, the influential, and let’s just say it…the idiots. They try to scare everyone into voting for them and it works because those who vote don’t take the time to educate themselves. What about all of those kids who don’t have health insurance. Children are born every day to dead beat parents and are made to suffer because of those shitty parents. That’s not right. If you make over 250K per year and you’re upset about paying higher taxes, then cry me a freakin’ river! Republicans are so happy to go to war with the first country that looks at us the wrong way, run our economy into the ground, but hey…don’t ask us to pay for it! Idiots.
@Josh
Yeah, maybe slightly. I’d save give a few hundred dollars, depending on how much your mortgage is. The average monthly rent I’ve been finding is around $600-$700 (which is about the same price as a mortgage.) That is assuming your mortgage is over $150k-$200k or whatever.
In either case, the average American can’t afford that with the state of the economy.
@James
I didn’t know this post would turn into a “boo-hoo” fest for the the blind liberal sheep. I should have known better.
[...] Why All Successful Affiliates Should Vote For McCain [...]
Thanks for having the courage to post this. I will be a regualr reader from now on. Its funny how people gang up on you when you say something negative about Obama. All of a sudden you’re a racist and an idiot.
Oh and You forgot to mention about his real estate deal with Rezko, his relationship with William Ayers, his wife’s negative comments about finally being proud of this country, the way he won his first election by getting everyone else running against him booted off the ballot, how he was the only one without his hand over his heart while the National Anthem played at a one of his democratic primary , his vote on partial birth abortions, his relationship with extreme-racist-hiding-as-a-man-of-god Reverend Wright, etc.
This country was founded on Christian values and thats what made it strong. Have we made mistakes? Sure, but we have grown and progressed past them. The WW2 generation was great because they sacrificed for this country and the next generation. Nowadays everyone wants to know “whats in it for me?”
This guy is all show and no substance. He has no experience to speak of, has socialist values, has done nothing in his short stint in the Senate, but he gives a great speech. The country is weakening because of its gradual move to the left. This guy will speed up that move.
God Bless America.
Ohh my… Not an american, but: What Peter said!
You come across as one stupid, selfish dumbass. Not to say unintelligent (oh, I said stupid, didn’t I?). My first visit to your blog and you lost me completely.
I hope for your sake you were madly drunk, while writing this crap.
@James
I agree with you. We’re being screwed by our own government.
‘They prey on the uneducated, the influential, and let’s just say it…the idiots.’
They fund both wars and tax us on the money they spent. While driving all this money into their private MILITARY companies.
While everyone fights for the scraps.
Reasons Why Affiliates Should think for Themselves:
1. Under Obama’s plan 90% of American’s (people making under $100,000) will receive a greater tax percentage of tax relief than under McCain’s plan. For Affiliates, this means 90% of American’s will have much more money to spend on products that affiliates promote. Obama’s plan will put more money into the hands of more people, which will then trickle up to the wealthy as the economy expands.
2. After making six figures a month, Jonathan wouldn’t even buy a big screen LCD TV, even though he wanted one… instead he waited until Azoogle gave him one for free (I guess he likes free handouts… he must be a socialist…I kid.). The point is, who’s going to jump start the economy… the rich like Jonathan or the vast majority of American’s who make under $100,000 a year.
3. Jonathan’s last name is “Volk”… guess what Hitler, The Third Reich and the Volk have in common. http://www.shoaheducation.com/volk.html Enough said….haha. Volk supports McCain and his name is associated with German Nazi’s. Boo, scary, be very afraid of a name people… I mean seriously give me a break Jon. If your citing was a joke, it was a bad one, considering it in the context of everything else you wrote.
4. Thank “God” for the First Amendment… The separation of church and state is a must. This is especially clear when people on the right are so easily manipulated and made to believe things that make them vote against their very interests… but I guess when republicans have no problem with lying, stealing and cheating to win… all under the guise of religion, people end up believing anything…
5. It’s amazing how a proud churchgoer like Jonathan, comes across sounding so selfish. You’d think he might care a little bit more about struggling families who make much less than even $50,000 a year. I guess when you make over $300,000 a month you get blinded to the struggles of average Americans. In the end how much money does one really need? Is it really a hardship for wealthy Americans to pay a couple percentage points more in taxes?
6. I agree, but you also have to vote for whom you feel is the best candidate for American. Obviously, Obama is the best candidate for bringing America together, and helping the middle class become a strong again.
7. Understand who you’re voting for… if you did you’d realize John McCain and the Republican Party is a bunch of hypocritical liars… out to enrich themselves and keep the rich, richer. Are you rich and selfish or just someone who’s bought into the right-wing propaganda smear machine. In other words, affiliates should think for themselves and not let yourself get dumbed-down by Faux News and people like Rush, Hannity, Coulter, Malken, and O’Rielly. The dumber you are the happier they are…
BTW, I was actually the first to post that graphic on Wicked Fire… not tweak50. Click the link on my name above. So you can thank me (jk, don’t worry about it).
Anyway, Jon… I do enjoy reading your blog and don’t want you to feel I’m personally attacking you, but I think you should open your mind a little bit. This post clearly was link bait in a way while also trying to sway your readers, but I think you clearly lost a lot of respect from people (including myself), who I believe have probably thought very highly of you… even though you have done some not so affiliate friendly things in the past (like stealing other affiliates landing pages). But hey, we all make mistakes, hopefully you’ll learn from your mistakes as we should all do. However, we as Americans can’t afford to make the same mistake of the last 8 years this time around, not again “My Friends”… not this time.
Post cont’d above… got cut off:

[...] Should think for Themselves – In response to Jonathan Volk Did you read Jonathan Volk’s misguided political post trying to say "Successful Affiliates" should vote for John McCain. Here’s my response: [...]
I can vote for Obama.
Mccain is more of a christian freak than obama. The lesser christian the better. If you vote mccain becuase you want “more freedom” but you don’t care that mccain wants to limit the freedom of others, you don’t deserve freedom anyway.
Sigh.. Unsubscribed. On the bright side, if an idiot like you can make money with AM, then so can anyone. Cheers!
Jonathan, you make a comment that Obama supporters are rude in their comments yet you go on to say that “Anyone too stupid to know the middle name thing is a joke should vote for Obama.”
THAT is a rude comment. I didn’t think it was a joke as the rest of your post was serious.
You’re entitled to your own opinions but this time you just shot yourself in the foot as witnessed by the majority of angry commenters.
Nice post Jonathan! Way to stick your neck out there regardless of the outcome, something that is sorely lacking in our society today.
People are treating Obama as if he is some kind of saviour, which he is not. There’s only one Saviour.
There will be consequences to drinking the Obama Kool Aid.
There are good reasons to vote McCain and not Obama…but you haven’t touched on any of them. Great job basing your choice in what is possibly the most important election in United States history on your own stupidity. It’s one thing to joke about it…I’ve poked fun at McCain on more than one occasion but what you have to say is just ignorant and just plain racist.
