You can direct link using the PHP method - it's probably some other issue.

Hi Jonathan!
I was going to try direct linking on Facebook ads, but when I try your method PHP Redirect with its own domain, when you click on my domain in the ads on Facebook you redirect to the affiliate page with a different URL and it can not accept Facebook's guidelines
"Ads That Contain a URL or domain in the Body Must Be Connected To The Same URL or domain." My ad was not approved.
Or is there something I misunderstood?

Regards
Jan...

Direct linking is fine, but I would say 9 out of 10 times, Facebook, NySpace or someone finds something wrong with the lander and makes you create a new lander, which you cannot do unless you own the product. The last time, they had a problem with a celebrity of the magazine cover that was shown on the lander and before that , there were NO terms stating recurring payments, etc, so sometimes its just better to create the lander yourself. IMHO

I need advice please from anyone.

I have several domains/typos with large traffic coming from Facebook, MSN, MySpace etc.. I've had them for years and I've used them to kick start many projects and sites. Now I know that I can't direct link/redirect these domains with an affiliate link say from Azoogle because apparently it's unethical.

So my question is, what would be the best thing to do with this traffic when used with affiliate programs. At the moment the domains are gathering dust with around 2k UV per day which has risen by 40% in the past year..

Any suggestions?

Is it okay, if it is in a subdomain or if it is not in the root folder of the domain?
