Jon, my request is simular to Russells, except I want to get into the game, not as a newbie as such; but with experiance. I was wondering if you would give me a chance, take me on in a sense and I can take points and gain experiance before I start off in the Affiiate Market on my own. Hey Jonathan. I gotta say, great site! I just spent a couple of hours reading your whole blog from start to finish (I’m a very slow reader). I’m just getting started in this affiliate marketing thing and your information has cleared some things up for me.
But I do have a kinda newbie question for you (or anyone else reading). I’ve recently applied for some affiliate programs through some of the big affiliate networks. I have registered some domain names and plan on creating landing pages and concentrate mainly on a paid search strategy. However, it seems to me that some of these guys aren’t willing to open up their programs to a relatively new guy like me.
Do most advertisers require that you have a working website with traffic before allowing you in? If so, it would seem to be a catch-22 since landing pages would need an advertiser’s links as the main content…maybe I’m missing something.

Jonathan, I am glad you fixed the A4D banners on the site. You may want to check that tweeter post is linking to an unexistant page, also you could cahnge the comments via admin and make them only as Jonathan Volk so they show as one on the right sidebar…

i`m a young affiliate from germany and i`m trying to start my own business as an affiliate… some sites are running on seo-basis an i`m going to try it in the ppc-section. do you have also some seo-websites, or do you only focus on ppc? how many campaigns do you have common?
