Well, it's official. I will be going to Affiliate Summit East! I am really looking forward to this!

With Affiliate Marketing, networking is a big part of success. I contribute a lot of my success to knowing so many people in the market and both giving and receiving information! (Please note GIVING information... not just receiving...)

Before I get more into Affiliate Summit stuff I wanted to post this short quote from Neil Patel's post today:

For example, 2 years ago I noticed that TechCrunch was not optimized for search engines. I decided to email Michael Arrington, on how he could make TechCrunch search engine friendly. For a few months he didn’t respond, but sooner or later he did.

Once Michael responded to me, he asked me how much it would cost for my help and I told him that I would do it for free. Within 2 weeks I doubled his search traffic and he was pleased. He then asked me if there was anything he could do for me and I told him that if he knew anyone that needed marketing help, it would be great if he mentioned my name.

Within minutes Michael emailed a few of his friends that ran Venture Capital funds and told them how I doubled his search traffic. But instead of his friends contacting me, they mass emailed all of the companies they funded, telling them to hire me. This led me to build relationships with many of the people insides Michael’s network, which has done wonders for my business.

As you can see, networking is important and I think Affiliate Summit is one of the best places to do this!

I was planning on attending but before I could purchase my tickets, the amazing people over at AzoogleAds offered to buy the tickets (and plane tickets) for me! Sweet!

As you'll notice, not too long ago, AzoogleAds just got me a big 52" Flat Screen LCD TV... and now, this!

I guess there is another lesson in this... Loyalty counts! Although I used to switch links to other affiliate networks on a few cents increase in pay, I really don't recommend this or do this any more. Instead, just be loyal to your favorite networks and they'll hook you up usually more than you could ever get anywhere else!

Ok... back to Affiliate Summit East...

Sadly, this is my first Affiliate Summit but I am VERY excited to see everyone and meet many of you.

Come ready with business cards and a photo ID... Oh and if you need business cards, I know of a great place where you can get free business cards called Vista Print (hahahahahaha... You know you would do it too... ;))

Jokes aside, I can't wait to meet all of you who are going and for those of you who are not going, I will see you at the next one hopefully.

I was on a vacation this last week and man it was nice. What made it even nicer was when I got home...

Let's just say Azoogleads knows how to hook it up!!!

All my family (and girlfriend) know how I have wanted a large flat screen TV for many, many years but have always restrained myself so I can put my money into better things. My goal is to spend as little money on liabilities while still living a good life as possible and spend as much as possible on assets which increase in value. B

I actually had been saving up Incentaclick Amazon coupons to buy a TV so that I wouldn't have to pay out of my pocket for it but now I don't have to!

When I got home, I had a brand new 52" 1080P LCD TV waiting for me compliments of AzoogleAds. I went right away to Fry's Electronics and bought a Wall mount, cables to hook it up to my computer (DVI to HDMI) and a wireless keyboard and mouse. It was like Christmas!

Before I get into showing you, let's take a look at the old work area.

Above you have a 22" Samsung monitor (which I love), a Macbook Pro, and my new chair paid mostly from amazon coupons from CX Digital. The Computer is a e6600 Intel Core Duo with an 8800 GTS video card. Nothing amazing now a days but it's certainly more than enough to work on every affiliate offer I have ever promoted.

Now, prepare to be smile. If you don't, I've smiled enough to make up for it.

I am still working on getting the wires all neat but you get the idea.

This thing is so large that I just had to put it near my computer so that I could use it for even more workspace! It's a thing of beauty!

So, all of that to say, THANK YOU AZOOGLEADS! I cannot say how excited I am about this beautiful new screen. For all of you who thought that there was no incentive program at azoogleads, you're wrong.

They do offer nice bonuses that are often way better than most networks. While they may not have a set structure of $x amount of dollars for every $x you make, the incentives they offer are often way higher paying than those networks who give usually less than 1% of the money back in the form of an incentive prize.

If you read any of the big "make money online" bloggers websites, you'll realize market leverage is really working hard to get some attention in the industry. You can see posts from big names all over just because they got a care package that probably cost the company a few hundred. Many guys made multiple posts...

So all of that to say, here is my "care package" post.

Just this weekend I received a package in the mail from them. At first I thought it was a hard drive I had ordered from tigerdirect but once I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised.

So I got a nice 2gb Flash drive / Pen, a ML hat, a ML golf shirt (XL hahaha), and my personal favorite a ML shirt that says, "I'm blogging this."

So with all the great gifts I decided to write a post about some of the advantages I can see to using ML.

The first obvious one is the rewards program. It's like an instant 1% back rewards program. Get an Amex Plum card, get 2% cash back. Put that in yahoo search marketing and get another 5% cash back. Put your traffic to Market Leverage and get another 1%! That'll increase your profit margins! Hahaha.

Compared to all the other affiliate rewards programs, 1% back is the highest I have ever seen.

The other really great thing about Market leverage is that you can actually get 5% referral commissions! That's the highest that referral commissions come!

All that to say, Market Leverage is quickly putting themselves as the industry leaders due to creative marketing strategies. Kudos to those who thought of the idea.

Probably one the biggest bottlenecks as an affiliate is the time it takes to create a new landing page for each new affiliate offer I want to promote.

For me, even having experience in both design and coding it generally takes me around a day to come up with something that I am happy with.

As I earn more and more, the one thing I wish I had done more of was outsourcing my work but it's so true when you hear the saying, gook worker are hard to find.

Thankfully, someone has though of a pretty cool idea which should help to solve at least some problems for some of you who are just starting.

Richard from www.lpcreations.com is doing two things to solve this issue which is why I agreed to review his website here.

The first is he is selling pre-made landing pages which are only sold 5 times max. For $39 bucks you get the page and a unique article. Nice! (I'd recommend getting that and not wasting your time trying to write anything... just have them do it)

Check out some of his premade designs.

The other thing he is doing is offering custom landing page design. For $39 you can get your own custom designed landing page. You can find that page here.

So let's look at the trade off: Pay $39 dollars and get your page designed while you work on other things or spend an entire day working on a design...

Now that is what I call a sweet deal.

If you're just getting started in affiliate marketing, I do recommend buying a template and trying your hand at it. Dating is a great niche to start in as there are a ton of keywords and such.

Some networks that have a lot of dating offers: AzoogleAds (also the one that has lifelock), Incentaclick, Copeac

So be sure to check out LPCreations.com and save yourself a bunch of time (which equals money).

If you have been following me for any length of time, you'll probably remember the type of affiliate products I recommend promoting. If not, the type of products I recommend affiliate promoting are products that the user is desperate. Desperate people generally will do anything to get a solution to their problem. Our job is to capitalize on that desperation.

The affiliate program I'm about to tell you about is a perfect example which is why I agreed to review their health affiliate program.

Health affiliate programs are a perfect example of selling to a desperate niche. I mean, just think, what women doesn't want to get rid of the winkles, get rid of puffy eyes, scars, spider veins, stretch marks, etc, etc. Just think about it.

Now, the way that you market to this type of a crowd is sell the benefits to them. Keep the benefits such as "No More Wrinkles" in front of their eyes at all times. They dont need to know features... just benefits.

You sell them the product and get a cool 50% commission just for showing them a solution to their problem. The health affiliate program offers you 50% commissions on all purchases so it's a very nice compensation plan.

As far as keywords go, I think the best way for you to do it is to focus on those benefit type keywords and use them as your base to get started. So again in our example, you would start with keywords having to do with reducing or eliminating winkles.

Later you could expand your options out to some more areas but start with marketing to the crowd that is looking for the solution you provide. A great way to expand this area is by using the keyword tool, Wordze.

Health Care Affiliate programs are just one perfect example of marketing to a desperate market but trust me, there are MANY, MANY more markets. If you cant think of one on your own, start with this one.

Wahoo! It finally happened! After a lot of hard work and changing up of offers and revamping things, I have finally been able to hit my first 5 figure day in sales.

Yesterday (Monday) resulted in over $11,000 in commissions! This is primarily due to me expanding upon the niches which I have a good hold in as much as possible.

So far this marks the highest day in both sales and profit I have ever had. Profit margins were just under 50% which I am really happy with.

I have a handful of affiliate networks that this amount is through such as AzoogleAds, Incentaclick, and many more.

Many of you might be wondering how I went from $3,000 dollar days up to $10,000+. Well, to be honest I havn't been keeping you all up to date with my campaigns. I have got close to $10k before but I didn't want to post updates on earning until I broke the $10k mark! It makes it more interesting that way.

Additionally, as far as monthly income goes, well... I'll just say old records are smashed and I look forward to posting an update on that once the month is over.

Anywho, I hope this encourages you that if you work hard in affiliate marketing, you really can make a great living for yourself! It's not like those ads on the net say, it takes work. A lot of work and learning but once you take the time to do it right, you should be able to earn quite a bit!

Not too many people know about my beginnings as an affiliate marketer.

I, like many, had innumerable questions about being a successful affiliate. And to be honest, I wasn't able to find all my answers right away. There was however a couple who I looked up to who gave me many of the tools I needed to get going in the right direction.

Today, I want to talk about one of my mentors. His name is Derek and he run's a blog over at ClickConsultants.com.

Derek is a super affiliate (through azoogleads, neverblueads, incentaclick, and more) who certainly knows his stuff. He's had the opportunity to work with some other top affiliates such as Paul from UberAffiliate.com and more!

All that to say, his blog is one jam packed with very helpful affiliate information... and you know what? You can never know too much about affiliate marketing and/or internet marketing.

I have been following his blog and a couple of highlight posts you might want to check out are:

Etc, etc, etc. The list really goes on and on.

Anyways, all of that is basically to say: Check out his blog. It's worth your time.

Besides the blog, Derek also runs a paid private forum which can really help starting affiliates get their feet on the ground, so be sure to check that out as well.

Most of the things I learned about starting a campaign were originated in that paid forum.

This blog uses the single best advertising system created called OIOPublisher. I absolutely love it and many will agree with me. (Paul from Uberaffiliate.com for example uses it as well).

It's almost certain that you've either heard of a paid wiki site or perhaps even paid for a page on one of them.

Most of these paid wiki sites are strictly content based on paid pages which means 90% spam in most cases. One new paid wiki site called monopowiki has created a solution for this. They have put together a paid/free wiki hybrid.

It's actually a pretty cleaver idea.

Essentially, you can buy a page and it's yours. Nobody but you can edit it.

If a page has not been purchased, you can edit the page and put w/e you want on the page. You can even try to monetize the content you put on the free pages! This is certainly going to increase the amount of content they have on their site.

Now, here is why this site actually might be the best paid wiki site on the internet. If you've ever heard of wiki jacking, you'll understand right away the power of paying for a page and internally linking to that paid page from other free pages with highly relevant content.

If you have not heard of wiki jacking, it's when you ... well just watch this video.

All in all, this could be a great place for you to promote some of your affiliate offers if you do it right. It's not going to be instant money, but you could end up making a nice chunk of change if you do it right.

That being said, it might be worth the getting a page but if you do it, I highly recommend you use other free pages to link to it.

Other ways to make money with this site are listed right on the home page:

1) Purchase a page, and have complete editorial control to promote things that generate revenue for yourself

2) Purchase a page, and rent out links on it to others.

3) Purchase a page for speculation, then sell it to others

4) Contribute to free pages and promote your site or otherwise generate revenue

5) Make a blog post about Monopowiki, link to our site, and submit your link to our $10,000 Monopowiki give-away to win a free page!

Other than that, this site is a normal paid wiki. Sign up process and all are pretty much the same as the others. It's simple enough that any idiot could really do it.
