Writing Goals

Wednesday, Mar 26th, 2008 by Jonathan Volk

When you have your own business it’s important for you to set goals for yourself.

Normally, before I start a day, I write out a list of goals I want to get done that day. I also have been journaling on my computer a list of campaigns that I know are verified money makers that I want to get into. This way, during the down or slower times, I have a huge list of things that I can use to generate more income. :)

I bring this up because in order to be a successful affiliate marketing, goals are very important!

Here’s a little template that I use when I add to my list of campaigns to do.
- Niche: ______________
- Offer: ______________ (Offer number, etc)
- Sample website: ___________________ (include screenshot)
- Potential Earnings (Goal): ___________________ (Find this from an affiliate manager and ask what their top affiliate is doing in terms of revenue.)
- Marketing Strategies: (PPC, SEO, Article Marketing, etc)
- Attempted strategies: (If I’ve tried anything)
- Notes:

When you get ideas, it’s important to write those ideas out so you dont forget and it’s fresh in your memory.
