Learn the techniques I used to make over $4,000,000 in affiliate commissions! Check out my Free Affiliate Marketing Guide and learn the "how to" for Facebook Ads, PPC Affiliate Marketing, PPV / CPV Affiliate Marketing, And Media Buying!

Ok, so you're probably wondering what I mean from that title. To be honest, I don't even know what I mean... Hahaha.

What I mean is that it's never good to allow necessity to dictate to you how much work you put into making a campaign profitable. So often what happens is people focus on a campaign, make a respectable amount of profit and let the campaign run, run, run. Then as what often happens in affiliate marketing: profitability declines, advertisers add more scrub, etc, etc, etc.

So after profit margins begin to diminish, we begin to work on the campaign, optimize, and struggle with it until things get back to a comfortable level. Necessity necessitating profitability... I still don't know if that makes sense. ;)

Instead why not work on optimizing now and enjoy the extra profitability during the easy times?

It's very easy to work less during the times when money is consistently rolling in but it's actually during those times that we should be focusing on optimizing because we can stand the testing money.

So get to optimizing if you're having a good month, week, etc!

Exactly what I’m doing right now… I started doing PPC affiliate marketing again about a month ago and and latched onto a lucrative niche. It’s making bank on two of the major search engines, but I’m trying really hard to enter into the third and It’s killing my profits! I need to do this to keep my momentum going, though.

You’re right. Having a faith in yourself could help with that.

  3. After getting setup and money is flowing in personally that’s when I begin to outsource. I’ve established that money can be made by doing a few key things, so then you pay some1 something nominal to continue doing those few things to continue your profits.

Great post. We should always work harder when it’s least expected. Always work to increase or improve our current position.

good post for such an strange title.
I always say that when times are bad you have to work hard, but when times are good, you have to work harder to get the most of it.

  6. Great post! Very inspiring

  7. i understand what you mean, if you continue to work hard from the beginning and keep that hard work going you don’t have to worry about profits slowing down, basically keep your efforts consistent. I think that’s what you meant LOL!!!!

  8. We are all human beings and there’s always room for creation. PPC is easy if you make it that way. Great post Jonathan!

  9. Great post! For making something profitable you work hard but thats the first step of your destination – you need to maintain that strategy until you get success behind that.
