Know Your Demographics

In affiliate marketing or even business in general, it’s important that you know who your target demographic is.

It is only when you really understand your target audience that you can fully monetize and optimize your page to result in the best conversions.

See, when you create a landing page, it’s easy at times to make it how you think it should be. We are naturally bias to our own type and think everyone will be sold as long as we would be.

Sadly, this can work at times and make you think that your page is optimized.

That being said, before you even begin to create your landing page, you should research what your target demographic is.

For example, anything dealing with Dieting and losing weight should be marketed to women. It’s statistically proven that women are the predominate demographic searching for weight loss solutions.

You can break it down even further into race, age groups, etc to increase your conversion rates even more.

So now instead of showing a white, buff 30+ year old male model on your weight loss page, you’ll show a picture of a white middle aged woman who they can relate to.

Relation sell… time and time again.

There are all sorts of places to get the information of what demographic usually gets what. There is no one place and as such my recommendation to finding your target audience is research. Research, research, research! (Don’t make me send anyone to “LetMeGoogleThisForYou.com”)

The more time you spend researching your offer / audience, the more you will understand them and be able to successfully market / sell to them.
