Many times I have heard of thirteen year old super affiliates and 15 and 16 year old kids that were supposedly making a ton of money online. To be quite honest, I never really believed that they were legit until recently.
The more I work in this industry, the more people I get to know. Out of all these people only a handful of people have stood out to me as very exceptional at marketing in general.
One kid that I have been really impressed with recently is Harrison from CPAShare.
At 16 years old, he makes way more than I do, has an Amex Black card, and even has taught me quite a few tips.
But what's most impressive to me is that he not only does affiliate marketing but also runs a private affiliate network (I can vouch for it since I've seen it), and a local PPC company.
All in all, it's one of those almost unbelievable things to hear that a young guy could be doing so well but he has found his niche and ran with it...
Oh and one other cool thing... he's generous. The other day he sent me $50 in itunes gift cards just so I could get some cool songs!
Pretty cool inspiration I would say. 
There are many others such as Josh Buckley, who is in his teens making 6 figures a year. Again, he found his niche and ran with it. He's a very intelligent guy who has been working hard and focusing his time on building his skills and has learned what works at an early age.
There are so many more I could mention... A couple are even just 14 and 15...
It's always inspiring and sometimes not so inspiring (makes people like me feel old... and I'm only 21!) to see young people like myself excelling at a rapid rate.
Look for these names later on as I'm sure they will be heavy weights in the internet marketing realm in the future!
Wow I’m 15. I make good money, but not six figures… I will definitely be reading their blogs.
OMG… and I just turned 20 and am not even making 5-figures a month yet! Kudos to that guy, but what I do question though is whether it is really possible. This is because many affiliate networks require you to be 18 so he must have a parent who he is doing it for.
Dustin, I’m a member of affiliate networks and I’m 15. You can lie on your info or you can tell a parent to sign up for you.
uh… don’t you need to be 18 to get an Amex? I don’t doubt that this kid is crushing it, but mommy and daddy had to step up at some point to get him a credit card… he couldn’t qualify for it on his own and most affiliates require you to be over 18.
Yea, the Amex is cosigned with his Dad or something but it doesn’t matter…

About having issues with age with networks, Very few of them require your age when you sign up, so just don’t tell em… + I have never worked with an ad network using any of my parents names. Always me/my LLC
Actually I think its easier for younger people to get started in this business. Older people aren’t as good with the internet and don’t understand it as well. Most of the biggest affiliates got started in their teens or early twenties. Not to mention older people are usually more risk averse and skeptical.

That’ amazing. I wish i was making that kind of money at my age, only 16 years young. I think it’s more of a goal to shoot for then anything else, because now you know that it IS possible so try your best and get to that point.
Wow. That has inspired me to get off my butt and actually start taking more steps towards even making 4 figures a month online
I agree with greg, but being young, I dont know how they manage to get this much knowledge on all these things.

) My legal person has advised me not to disclose my income so I don’t. It’s interesting how the internet stops the age problems when having a real business. It’s getting harder as I progress through school which gives me more homework 
Ya, he seems like a kewl kid. Wonder what portion of the net he is making his $$ from? Facebook, adwords, hmm?
well not to say no, I too make in 5 figures a month, but in Indian currency and working 10 hrs a day.

I believe these kids are not generally smart (maybe some of them are). Everyone is smart. They have the drive to become successful and that’s what separates them from your average 9 to 5 goer. Because people with goals work harder and become smarter and experienced in what they do as they work towards their goals.
wait! are these the kids running those grant offers? FTC is coming down hard at them.
