Learn the techniques I used to make over $4,000,000 in affiliate commissions! Check out my Free Affiliate Marketing Guide and learn the "how to" for Facebook Ads, PPC Affiliate Marketing, PPV / CPV Affiliate Marketing, And Media Buying!

When you know there is an ebook floating around on Digitalpoint forums on how to get accepted into a CPA network selling for $37 dollars, you know it's time to write a post... and this won't cost you anything.

I mean, seriously guys, it's really a lot easier than you would think but before I get into that, I'll explain why some of you might have a problem getting accepted.

Why is it hard to get accepted in the first place?
Affiliate networks take on a ton of risk. In most cases they have to pay bigger affiliates weekly but yet only get paid from advertisers net 15 or even net 30! Think about that... It's crazy. In certain cases advertisers are late or even fight payment. If a certain percentage of leads for example are not good, then they often don't want to pay for the whole batch of leads.

Risk Factor?
Now, think of the network who has 1000 applications waiting for approval. To them it's all about one thing... risk factor. How much of a risk are you to them? This is because if you're an affiliate and you decide to send 10000 fake leads to X company by signing up all under your own name and information, the advertisers are obviously not going to pay the affiliate network for them. But... what if the quality checks don't happen before the affiliate network got paid? The affiliate network pays out of pocket for leads they never will be paid for. (This happens a lot mind you)

If you're an affiliate from Nigeria, I'm sorry, your risk factor automatically is at a 10/10. If you're an affiliate from a major country, your risk factor is substantially lower but still does not guarantee acceptance... You need to do more than just apply.

To be Accepted...
To be accepted into a network, you must get over the fear of talking to real live human beings. This fear of talking on the phone for most internet guys is huge. Seriously. I've talked to literally 30-50 people in my marketing career that just don't want to talk on the phone because they "don't like to." So instead of be accepted into an affiliate network, they just shrug it off. I call that fear.

To make it in this business, communication is key and as such any issue you have talking on the phone must die right at the start.

See when you apply for any affiliate network, you must not sit and wait there for approval but you should call them.

Calling a business removes MOST risk factor as 95% of hackers, scammers, and fake lead generators don't want to call (probably due to fear) and have turned to the dark side. (Hahaha...)

Great CPA Networks YOU Should Apply To:
As a final note, there are also places like AzoogleAds which I would recommend if you have previous experience only. This is because they have so many applications that they can't handle them all and even people who call get disapproved if they have no experience.

Some CPA networks you can apply for now if you're just starting: (It doesn't hurt to apply to all of these... and is recommended)
- Ads4Dough - Run by a Super Affiliate! Great offers, Great Payouts.
- Copeac - A large network with a TON of offers. They also pay out weekly for anyone hitting $1,000 / week or more!
- HydraNetwork - Another large network with a HUGE amount of offers to pick from.
- Convert2Media - Run by Ralph Ruckman, another super affiliate. Great guy... great network.

HAHAHA….wait…but Nigeria is where all those princes who give out money are right????

  2. Marc Jerz says:

Wow, I read this post right after getting off the phone with AzoogleAds…I explained to them I’m just starting out and they told me I’d have to come back after I’ve learned the ropes a little and done some decent campaigns. Time to get to it ! Good read, thanks.

    • mainSTAY says:

Ahahahaha !!!! Come back AFTER you’ve learned the ropes and done some decent campaigns?? Well how in the hell are you supposed to run some “decent” campaigns if they don’t even accept you into their affiliate network?? Doesn’t make any sense to me.

That’s like saying “well, sir, we’ll let you test drive this exclusive car after you’ve driven it for some time….”

      What a joke.

    • Mike Sheibar says:

Hey Marc – I work for an affiliate network. We are smaller than the aforementioned company, but I can tell you that I would be glad to speak to you if you were interested. I’m not to busy! Hit me up.

I agree if you want to get in you should call, you also have to be very confident. It just sucks that for some new people they have to lie to get in, by telling them they have experience they don’t. Otherwise its hard to get in. Maxbounty is pretty easy to join though.

    • Emmanuel says:

      Hello Mary,

      Lovely smile you got there…

While surfing the internet and searching through Google,I found this topic which has lead me to you.

In my search, I have learnt that “as a Nigerian, it is more difficult to be accepted in a C.P.A NETWORK”.

Please put me through the basics C.P.A networks …

I am hoping to get tips on how to join C.P.A networks successfully and also to know how to drive traffic to them so that I make good earnings from there.
I also want to know what I need to get before I apply to C.P.A Networks.

I have contacted you amongst others because your reply/post to this TOPIC is the shortest , most Direct and is also encouraging and I believe that I can get the lecture I need from you.

  6. This is a good post, and one most AM guides don’t spend enough time on, and you’re completely right about fear of talking to a human.

Awhile back I wrote a small guide with tips on getting accepted to networks. See my link. I don’t mean to spam, just thought it was relevant to this point. Entire site is WIP.

  7. Dan says:

Haha Jonathan, I somehow feel you wrote this blog post partially due to our MSN chat about Copeac the other day :P

  8. @mainSTAY Well like Jonathan said in the last two paragraphs of his post…It makes perfect sense..just like in sports, a good analogy would be baseball, you’re usually AA or AAA before you go to the major leagues. They aren’t the only network in existence. I’ve gotten accepted to a handful of networks pretty easily. So that’s how I will learn the ropes.
If Azoogle Ads wants to see proof I know what I’m doing first before accepting me, I have no problem with that.

I used to suffer from this. When I applied for ML in the summer I wasn’t going to school, so I got a call from this man at like 8 AM, they said it was from market leverage and my parents were like wtf, so I had to talk to him and turns out he is from philly which is close to where I live, we ended up talking about cheese steaks I don’t do affiliate marketing anymore, but at least I can do it any time since I got an account with ML.

  11. Melvin says:

Nice post, Jonathan… Normally networks would ask you what are your ways on promoting and I think thats how they decide if they are gonna accept you or what… Anyway, I applied for neverblue late last year and they never responded to me… i am hearing theyre good..

  12. kerisemas says:

hi guys… have you heard about Clickbank…?

  13. I also suffer from that fear of talking with a human being on the telephone. But I still managed to get accepted into NeverBlue and MaxBounty.

How? Hehe, they called me when I wasn’t expecting it and caught me off guard :)

  14. Special says:

    @Mattew

    Well, I am from Nigeria.

Do you mean there is no way I can do cpa marketing?

If there is, can you show me how?

  15. aniekeme says:

Greetings, when i first heard of CPA affiliates network ,at first i did not gave a second thought to it.This is because i thought as a Nigerian it will take a dubious way to get in. Now that i have read your post it confirms my thought. Please is they any way you can help me to get registered in a good way, and i will be glad you did. Thank ,Bye

  16. Andrew says:

Is it OK to exaggerate traffic and PPC spending on your application or is that just making your chances of acceptance less? I have been told it is very important to make it seem like you spend lots of money already driving traffic in order to be accepted.

  17. adit says:

    by d way,
whats the requirement of my website should I made to get aceepted in ANY CPA network ?? only the high traffic ? how bout the design ?

  18. ron says:

You are saying it is easy to get in. But I am hearing different. And like one person said early that he was told to come back when get more experiences. Okay I can understanding them saying that , but where do you get the knowledge? If we going to say how easy it is, but get told learn more about it CPA, where do we look for help?

  19. melvin says:

yeah, It is similar to spending years in college – and when it is time to get the job you went to college for – they turn you down and say “you need more experience”. Well, at least tell me where to get it – or I will end up running around in circles with every job telling me the same thing – and ends up I can’t find a job to even get on to get the experience if over 80-90 percent of the market want you to have experience.

  20. Hey Jonathan,

The guys at Digitalpoint will sell anything. Any info they can get their hands on. I’m a member of one paid forum with many methods and those methods are popping up there will a hefty price tag.

Keep up the good work Jonathan

  21. Scott says:

    Hello
I’ve brought the Zero friction Marketing product don’t know if any of you have read it, it’s good any way some say you pretty much have to lie like a trooper to get in. I really don’t feel comfortable lieing to someone i want to make money with. i want to do CPA offers by PPC and banners. Does anyone know what CPA networks i could join?

  22. Mutiara says:

    Hi Scott,

I bought ZFM too. Good course :) I’m a newbie in CPA and I got accepted with Commission Junction and ROI Rocket. I’m now trying to get into Hydra and Maxbounty. I guess the key is to sound confident that you know what you’re doing when you talk to the rep from these networks. When a rep from ROI Rockets called me, I had no clue why this lady called and answered her questions like a newbie in the Internet Marketing world. And lo and behold I still got accepted. My motto is if you get rejected 1st time, try again. I found a good post on the Warrior Forum in regards to this topic. It’s free.

    Good luck!

  23. sean jay says:

I was very new to CPA about 2 months ago but I have been accepted by all the CPA networks I have applied to. I think it is because of my extensive affiliate marketing background. I submit high quality applications then wait for the networks to contact me – they always do. Then i tell them what i can do for them and they accept me straight away.

I just treat them as humans but I also have the attitude that its what I can do for them rather than what they can do for me.

You do need to know what you are talking about and be able to tell them how you will promote their offers. They want to hear things like PPC, blogs, email marketing and you could even throw in stuff about PPV (contextual marketing if you know about it. That will surely impress them but also be aware that not all networks allow contextual advertising so say to them ud use it if the offer allows it.
Like Jonathan my goals are to make money to help others as well as myself but its just not happening at the moment despite putting in HRS every day!

  24. Ray says:

    Yes!

Just got off the phone with Copeac making an application with them and I’ve been approved!

The phone call was only 5mins and all it took was an enthusiastic approach. I had my plan in front of me which I continually referenced (This is the most important. As Ari Gold says “at what point can your investors see some profit?” ).

As sean jay mentions, talk the talk saying you’ll use proven methods of PPC, blogs, landing pages, and PPV/CPV when the time comes.
