When Myspace first came out, nobody was really using it to make money.
As popularity continually gained, spammers realized the opportunity and many people made literally tens of thousands of dollars per day. Ca-ching.
Now, I'm not advocating spamming but I'm trying to bring up some provoking thoughts. 
As twitter continues to climb in both member base and alexa rating, one has to wonder how it could be used to make more money.
I'm wondering what type of spam bots will come out for it and even how it would be done, but I assure you it will come soon enough.
Just some food for thought.

It’s being done already. I’m not a spammer but a friend who is into blackhat stuff has already written a Twitter spam bot and is cleaning up with it. Now let’s see what steps twitter takes to counter it.

Using it how it is meant to be be used (as a networking tool) Is probably the most profitable thing you can do. Plus you get to meet new people and form some great relationship while doing so

Yea, you guys just spam…
I have cca 700 folks i follow and they are more or less real ppl. If they are spammers any spammers then they are pretty good though + you can block any spammy shithole at the click of a button. They will become a big nuisance but i’m pretty ready to delete them.
I use twitter for networking and it’s a great tool, now Volk if you want to give an idea to affiliates here to become spammers be my guest but you are advising a wrong thing.
