First to be clear Wayne isn’t WayneDog. 2 different people.

Ok I have to agree with cakes here that using TNX will usually get your site in hot water with Google as they are shunning paid linking right now which is why it’s not the best advice I have gotten from this blog for sure. Jonathan usually knows what he is talking about though and maybe he just didn’t do his homework on this before writing the review.

@wayne a paid review like this presented under the guise of real advice is hardly the same as a banner ad. I’m just trying to look out for the newbie here, cause you know some idiot is going to use this service on some site he’s been building for months and the $11 he thought was going to bring him riches is going to get him banned from google like most sites do that buy links from sites like tnx.

as for “true or untrue” you can just google “tnx review” to see all the other jackasses who got paid to “review” the same thing in the past.

but seriously, its not a paid review if you don’t do any reviewing.

I know what you mean Jonathan some people are just too lazy to apply what they learn…what kills me is when you post financial details about a campaign and then people in the comments still ask, “How much of that campaign was profit?” even though you clearly say it in the post… these are the type of people that don’t BOTHER wanting to learn how to fish, but just jump in line asking where the free fish for the day is…

Hey Nicky, you may have a point, true or untrue only Jonathan knows the details. What I don’t understand is whats the BIG deal, I personally read Jonathan’s posts all the time and have learned a lot from the knowledge he takes the time to share. For him to monetize his blogging efforts is completely normal and fine by me. Do all of his advertisers, reviews or banners need to conform to my highest idealism and be completely impeccable? No of course not. I’m not forced to read his content if I don’t want to, and in my opinion his suggestions so far have been good if not great. Do I only subscribe to and listen to the advice on this blog because Jon’s the man and knows 100% about everything in the affiliate marketing blogosphere? No, that would be pretty stupid of me to do so. Seriously folks, Jonathan is just pointing you in a direction because thats part of theme of his blog, Its up to you to use your head and research it out your self.

-Anyway thanks Jonathan for the content you put out, I find it helpful and inspiring.

Are you kidding dude? They send emails to almost every blogger in the industry asking to do a paid review. There’s nothing new about TNX, they’re just an ordinary text link ads site. You’re likely to get banned from G for using them, and they’re banned themselves. They PAID you to review their site. You didn’t actually review it, you just rewrote whatever lame sales pitch they had on their site and posted it on yours and collected the money.

That’s called misleading your readers. Hope it was worth selling your credibility for $100 or whatever TNX paid you for the “review”.
