Their is a great book or audio called Eat that frog that i am just finishing. It is amazing with motivation topics to the A1, A2 priority list style that he explains in great detail. I have just started this process everyday and so far it has really focused me to a better day. Highly recommended read. oh ya he also recommends in the book to take 1 whole day off that you do nothing work related. I am going to have to work on this.

Time does seem to fly when you don't have anything to work against.

I find it much easier like you said working from a "to do" list, plus it feels good crossing them off :P

Jon, Great post. I like the rock analogy that you used. I've always tried to keep "Faith, Family, Business" as my priority list, but as you said, it can be super difficult at times.

Best of luck to you!

Hey Jon... thanks for the motivation and encouragement.. your post never fails to motivate me to work even harder. Especially after seeing you climb from $20,000 a month in the beginning of the year to $140,000 a month in April..

Your green bar is consistently increasing and looks like there's no stop to it!

Hey Jonathan,

Great post! I can definitely relate as I just graduated from college, I'm starting a job as an applications DBA, getting married in about a month, and trying to start affiliate marketing! Your analogy reminded me of a demonstration in youth group back in high school that my youth minister did with a jar, rocks and sand. Great stuff. Keep up the good work.
