Either way, it's always a challenge learning the "unknowns".

I'm not sure which one I would prefer though. My buddy that I work with comes up with creative angles I would have never thought of. He's great at marketing, but not so great at the technical stuff.

Agreed.

I've made lots of connections and learned a lot of insider information that you never see posted or written about in e-books or in forums.

Talking with people and getting their first-person experience can be mind-blowing. It's interesting to see what ideas that people have tried and you learn from it. Remember to reciprocate though!

It also helped that I started organizing the meetup202 Affiliate Marketing group in LA and allowed me to expand my network.

Networking is like a magical force. Opportunities can just fall in your lap because someone keeps you in mind and thought an idea might be useful for you. It's crazy! =)

I agree that having a like minded buddy can do wonders. You don't even necessarily have to go into business with that buddy. Just talking to that person about each other's business can help a lot. It's great motivation and it helps answer any concerns you may have.

Nice pic of Jasper looking at life through rose tinted glasses! He really looks like a chilled out and laid back dude, and good on him for his success! I especially enjoyed his take on having a like-minded buddy. This kind of relationship has definitely worked the best for me in my business ventures so far.

Great great interview. Jasper is one of my favorites in this biz. also, you can appreciate his honesty and know this guy is for real instead of others who talk big and probably don't even do a quarter as much monies. I second the previous comment dood! Lots of success to you. Like a bawss. lol.
