Affiliate Manager Saturday: Brittany Kimel
About the Author of This Post
My name is Dan and I’ve been involved in affiliate marketing for about 2 years now. I originally started off doing review sites with SEO until I became bored and tired of waiting months for my sites to rise in the search engines. I was making about $6k per month from SEO, but that wasn’t enough anymore, and I was ready to take my business to the next level. About 6 months ago, I began to learn everything I could about PPC and CPA marketing. To make a long story short, PPC and CPA marketing has literally changed my life and I’m now doing over $1,500+ per day while working part time from home. I know that $1.5k per day might seem like chump change to some people, but it’s more money than I’ve ever dreamed possible before entering the world of affiliate marketing.
Brittany Kimel From Clickbooth
I think one of the biggest factors in my success has been the relationships I’ve established with my affiliate managers. There are dozens and dozens of different CPA networks to choose from, but trust me when I say that not all of them are created equal. For the sake of this post, I’m going to talk about my favorite affiliate manager and how she’s really gone up and beyond the call of duty to help me get to the point where I am today… (drum roll)…… Brittany Kimel from Clickbooth.
Within days of signing up at Clickbooth, I was contacted by Brittany for the first time. I was pretty impressed at first, because I’m not really use to affiliate managers going out of their way to see if I needed anything to get started. I’m currently a member of 10+ affiliate networks, and I’ve still never even talked to my half of my affiliate managers to this day. For the affiliate managers I have talked to, I was usually always the one that made the effort to make the first contact. Therefore, I had a good first impression for Clickbooth when I was contacted by Brittany within days of signing up.
I’ve been working with Brittany now for a couple months, and she has really bent over backwards to help me get started in anyway she can. Brittany really understands affiliate marketing and the industry as a whole, and she has been one of the most knowledgeable affiliate managers that I’ve worked with. I’ve talked to certain affiliate managers before, and I could tell that they weren’t the best person to talk about marketing strategies with. All affiliate managers should understand stuff like conversion rates, EPC, etc… but not all of them understand the affiliate marketing strategies behind promoting these offers. Brittany is one of the better marketing strategists that I’ve talked to, and her advice has definitely helped me get to the point to where I am today.
One of the other things that really stood out to be about Clickbooth is how they are making sure that their affiliates and merchants are both compliant. In the long run, this is going to help the affiliate marketing industry as a whole, and it seems as if Clickbooth is leading this movement. Brittany went over my sites with me and really helped me to make sure my sites had the necessary disclaimers to ensure that I was protected. I think that some affiliates were concerned that having these disclaimers on their sites would hurt their conversions, but this has definitely not been the case for me. My site conversions have not decreased at all, in fact, they’ve actually increased since the time the disclaimers were placed.
On one particular weekend, I had to leave town to attend a wedding, and I wasn’t going to have access to a computer for nearly 3 days. I was just getting started on a new campaign and I was pretty nervous about how it was going to do since I wasn’t available to monitor it closely. The Friday before I left town, I told Brittany that I was going to leave town for a few days and I wasn’t going to have access to a computer. To my surprise, she actually offered to text message me my sales stats and conversions throughout the weekend while I was gone. How many affiliate managers do you know that would text message you 3 times per day to update you on your campaign stats on their DAYS OFF? Exactly… probably none… Keep in mind, I wasn’t a super affiliate by any means, and I really didn’t deserve any special treatment at that time as I was just getting started with Clickbooth and I was barely sending any volume at that time. This is one of the many ways that Brittany Kimel has really bent over backwards to help me in anyway I can. It didn’t matter if I was sending 3 sales a day, or 103 sales per day.
Brittany is always available for contact throughout the day, and she is more than happy to help me with finding top offers for a particular niche, discuss marketing strategies, or even getting faster payment terms in order to help me keep my campaigns going. Anytime I need a tracking pixel placed on the merchant’s landing page… no problem! In fact, I feel bad because I’ve actually had her change my tracking pixels 3 different times on 3 different merchants in just the same week. I was testing different keyword tracking platforms, therefore, my tracking pixel needed to be replaced for each new software. I’m sure Brittany is a busy woman throughout the day, but she was more than happy to continuously replace my tracking pixels like a revolving door.
Overall, the moral of this story is that not all CPA networks and affiliate managers are created equal, and if you’re looking for an affiliate manager that will really bend over backwards to help you out, then look no further than Brittany Kimel from Clickbooth. It doesn’t matter if you’re a newbie and just getting started, or if you’re already a super affiliate. Brittany will definitely be there to help you every step of the way, and will go beyond the call of duty to help make sure you succeed.
