Be sure to apply to my favorite affiliate network, AzoogleAds.

Probably one the biggest bottlenecks as an affiliate is the time it takes to create a new landing page for each new affiliate offer I want to promote.

For me, even having experience in both design and coding it generally takes me around a day to come up with something that I am happy with.

As I earn more and more, the one thing I wish I had done more of was outsourcing my work but it's so true when you hear the saying, gook worker are hard to find.

Thankfully, someone has though of a pretty cool idea which should help to solve at least some problems for some of you who are just starting.

Richard from www.lpcreations.com is doing two things to solve this issue which is why I agreed to review his website here.

The first is he is selling pre-made landing pages which are only sold 5 times max. For $39 bucks you get the page and a unique article. Nice! (I'd recommend getting that and not wasting your time trying to write anything... just have them do it)

Check out some of his premade designs.

nullnull

The other thing he is doing is offering custom landing page design. For $39 you can get your own custom designed landing page. You can find that page here.

So let's look at the trade off: Pay $39 dollars and get your page designed while you work on other things or spend an entire day working on a design...

Now that is what I call a sweet deal.

If you're just getting started in affiliate marketing, I do recommend buying a template and trying your hand at it. Dating is a great niche to start in as there are a ton of keywords and such.

Some networks that have a lot of dating offers: AzoogleAds (also the one that has lifelock), Incentaclick, Copeac

So be sure to check out LPCreations.com and save yourself a bunch of time (which equals money).

As a full time internet marketing guy, it's easy at times to get, well, consumed by my work.

I love being able to work all day, take breaks when I want, and not have to worry about some boss yelling at me... (That's what my affiliate managers are for ;) hahahaha)

Because of all those factors it can be easy to put too much focus on your business life and not enough on other "big rocks" which are important.

When managing your schedule, it's always important to put the big rocks AKA most important things first. Then everything else is put around those items. Big rocks first, then the medium rocks, then the small rocks, then the "sand."

While making an income is important, there are other things that are more important.

I say all of this because I know many of you are attempting to become full time affiliate marketers. In your journey to become a full time guy, don't neglect the other areas or life will pass you by very quickly.

The secret is this, when you work, work as efficiently as possible. Write out a list of items you need to get done, itemize them into priority (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, etc) and do them in the order that you need to get them done.

When you have a "plan" things go a lot faster and thus allows you to get more actual time for the more important things. :)

Hope that helps a bit.

How do you plan your search marketing campaign launch?

Here is a couple pointers to how I plan my campaigns! :)

First, I find the offer I think is in a good market with high potential. Check this post for more information on what type of offers I like to research.

Generally I check with AzoogleAds FIRST, Incentaclick Second, and PepperjamAds Last. If I cant find something I want in those, I check some of the other networks I have listed here.

Next, I check out the competition. By search generalized terms in all three search engines, I can formulate what my bigger competitors are and what they're doing that works. You can tell if they've been around for a while by checking their landing page alexa rank and other similar tools.

They are inaccurate, yes, but give you a general gauge of the landing pages traffic. It helps...

Next, I generally start a smaller campaign in Google making sure to focus on quality score. I refine my ads, work on great quality and start expanding from there.

Next I work on expanding my campaigns out using more adventurous keywords and ideas. Again, proven keywords (basic keywords) come before unproven success ideas. Do the basics first, then work on the more advanced.

Lastly, I work on getting my profit margins up. I utilize tracking of every possible kind to optimize my pages to eek as much money out of the current traffic level as possible. Tomorrow I will write more on this.

Before I get into any niche, I generally like to spend a day or so and research everything I can about the industry.

I'll always check Wikipedia, Ezine Articles, and other sources to see what exactly people are saying about the industry and what I need to know.

Often you'll find researching your industry can open your eyes up quite a bit to numerous advantages.

First, you'll realize how to sell to the target demographic better. The more you realize who uses the service, the better you'll be able to convert.

Next, you'll be able to create targeted sales pages geared towards multiple areas involving your product or service.

Lastly, you'll be able to discover keywords that you previously may not have thought of. Generally these keywords are going to be less competitive and can often be great income generators.

The benefits really go on and on but I will let you discover the rest! :)

It's Mothers day in a couple days and if you're like me, you're probably going to order something online pretty soon.

With that being said, as affiliate marketers, we must, must, must capitalize on these type of situations. But where do we find what to promote?

It's simple. In this situation we look to our source of traffic to tell us what to promote. :)

So first go to google trends and search for some gifts you might get your mom. I typed in flowers.

By analyzing the graph we can see that flowers are searched for in may even more than valentines day! Wow!

Needless to say, flowers are only a small example of everything that can be searched for during Mothers day.

Some other examples to consider: Chocolates, Shoes, Gift Cards, etc... The sky is the limit. Just capitalize on the traffic you know is already there.

After you've begun to earn a nice amount on affiliate earnings where do you invest your earnings?

This is something that I've been thinking about for a while now.

Do I hold onto it, do I put it into a low risk CD, do I invest it into a high risk stock... What...

So after much thought, tomorrow I will be buying some stock in Google and Apple so that should be pretty cool. I used to trade stocks a lot and had a whole portfolio including Apple, Microsoft, American Eagle, Intel, Sirius Satellite Radio, and a few more.

All did OK for me while I had money in it but I took the money out to give me more growth room in affiliate marketing (Plus I was getting much better returns).

Now that I have the leverage of a higher credit card limit, my growth is not really limited as much to my savings and as such I want to reinvest.

I am also looking into rental properties but I want to wait about a year before I get into that while the marketing continues to bottom out. Thankfully, my sister is a property manager for a large company and hopefully will be able to assist me in what direction to go when that time comes.

I believe it's important to do something more than just hold on to your cash. First, reinvest it into the affiliate marketing business. Once you have built up a little bit more then I recommend diversifying and having money in other areas.

This same principal applies to affiliate marketing as well. Don't put 100% of your eggs in one basket. I am working on getting more offers up that are in different areas.

That being said, where do you plan to invest your affiliate earnings after you've overcome the point of needing to reinvest all your earnings?

In Yahoo Search Marketing there is a "move" feature that a lot of people don't seem to use. So what is the move feature?

In individual adgroups, you'll sometimes notice keywords that perhaps would be best suited other places. These are called quality score killers.

These off the wall keywords can really lower your quality score over time and as such should be removed from the adgroup.

To fix this, there is a great function called the move function in yahoo.

To use it, first create a second adgroup focused around the keyword you will be removing from the main adgroup. Make sure to target your ad and landing page as much as possible to this particular keyword.

After that, go into your main adgroup and use the search tool to search for any keyword that is similar to your new adgroup focused keyword.

Select all these keywords, click move and boom you're done! :)

Rinse and repeat.

I was recently reading a book by Frank Damazio, the Pastor of Portland City Church, I came across a statement that really made sense in the affiliate marketing realm.

He said, "Proven basics come before unproven success ideas."

In affiliate marketing I often talk to people who have some great ideas on how to promote a campaign but are complaining about how they can't find success in affiliate marketing.

They're wanting to try off the wall keywords in hopes of finding more conversions when they can't get the normal keywords to work for them at all.

Get the basic keywords, the proven converters, down and converting before you try expanding into the unknown.

For example if you're promoting dating you'd want to try and get all the dating keywords down and converting before you start going into other areas. Sure you'll probably make a bit lower profit due to the competition but any income is better than none or even worse, losing money.

After you've found how to manage the basic keywords, expand into other keywords such as "Online meetups" and things like that.

It is more than ok to start a campaign out as a basic campaign and expand on it while it's running. I do it all the time.

Wow! Last month was a crazy month for me coming in at over $140,000 for April, 2008 using affiliate networks such as AzoogleAds, Incentaclick, and PepperJamNetwork.

This certainly makes for the highest earning month and highest profit month I've ever had. Wahoo! This also marks the month that I finally broke the $80,000 goal I have had since last September (in 2007). It feels great to meet goals!

You'll notice on my Goals page that I post about my long term goals on this site as well. I decided that starting this month I was going to put my money where my mouth was and I will be sponsoring 10 more orphan children in India each month. I already sponsor a couple people (including a child and a Pastor's education) but I figure it's time to step it up even more due to the goal I hit.

So this weekend I will be contacting the people I know over in India who are the head over hundreds of churches and children's homes who have been in India for over 30 years now. The nice thing about going directly to them is that 100% of the money goes to missions. 0% is taken for administration costs because the people who are in charge have people who support them.

Hopefully once everything gets settled, I can have them take a picture to post here.

Anywho, Back to affiliate marketing:

I've been asked a few times if I think my earnings are going to slow down anytime soon?

As of right now, I don't see anything slowing down. I have 6 campaigns lined up that I expect to bring in another $100,000 or more per month. So my immediate goal is going to be $250,000 per month in a couple month time and $400,000 per month by the end of the year.

As July comes around, I will have more time to put into my campaigns so hitting the $400,000 mark should be fairly obtainable by December.

I've also been asked How I did it.
Well to be honest, I provide all the tips you need on this website. Consider subscribing to my RSS feed and watching for the tips that many people look over.

Side Note:
Be sure to watch for some upcoming posts which are costing me over $3,000 to post and will open the opportunity for 10 people to try to make $100,000 (in a years time) each with me. It's something worth subscribing just to get the opportunity to join. Expect to see them within this month.
